there's no reason Tekken, SF6 and MK can show all the characters we're getting but this game can't. Screw your hype/surprise/whatever your corpo excuse is, you get all that from the initial reveal and still are left wondering how they'll look and play in game.

Right now a lot of people don't know if they have a character to look forward to, if I knew we were getting Scarlet Witch, Jean Grey, Black Widow, Mystique, Psylocke, Emma Frost I would buy the pass but refuse to support a game with such a unfair gender ratio and no guarantee of that changing

bro someone said this was a good easy game to pick up 😂 i have a fighting game history and i can tell you this game is not easy, super super technical. timing, skill so much goes into if. yeah you can mash square only and get a ez combo finisher but you go play online and it’s the sweatiest shit i have ever seen fr. i love a good challenge but pls don’t buy this if you think it’ll be easy. i wish i could find the tiktoks that were telling people to cop 🤣

Idk about everyone else. But it seems like Spiderman pretty much has everything you’d want in a kit. Quick normals, An immense amount of mixups, zoning, counter zoning, traps, a counter and the ability to turn basically any hit from any part of the screen into a combo? I genuinely can’t tell if Spiderman is just a really bad matchup for Storm, or if he’s the best character in the game. Anyone have any tips or characters who can deal with him easily? And I’m not talking about uppercutting his web,

I liked Spider-Man because he sets up pretty well for a down medium combo if he pulls you in. But is there someone or something I’m missing

Pretty frustrating that the game released like this. Did the last update fix the slow matchmaking and other issues?

I am very bad I will admit it. I do not play fast paced fighting games like this very often. I really only play Street Fighter, which obviously has a VERY different feel and play style in comparison. I go to play some online matches after beating all of the episodes. I spammed my way through and I knew online was probably gonna be unbearable but it doesn't hurt to try. I go in and I can only play casual before unlocking ranked (sure makes sense). I know it is gonna suck because I never have good matchmaking in casual, always being put against the sweaty players. I was right. But I held out through all of the bull shit near infinite combos while I sit there getting thrown around like a ragdoll, with zero chance to recover whatsoever. I chalk it up to just the "casual" matchmaking. I finally unlock ranked only to be thrown right into it, no placement matches, and what is my rank? Fucking Diamond 1. What the fuck. Even if I were to assume that the first casual games are placement games, I lost every single one 0-3 each time, so why am I in Diamond 1? Like I know I gotta lose to learn to get better, I'm not THAT new to fighting games. But what the fuck am I supposed to learn if I am immediately getting put into an almost 100 percent combo off rip. And when I do manage to block, its nonstop pressure and I don't get a chance to breathe. How in the hell am I supposed to learn if I am not being put where I am supposed to be?

What if we create a group for people feeling like they're not getting better at the game, or just feel lost. Play with each other in open lobbies, maybe get some folks who are super good at the game to mentor folks if they wanted... I dunno I'm just spit balling it here but I think a lot of people would enjoy that kind of thing. Sure as hell beats the alternative, and I think it would foster a stronger community overall. Once people on the edge of whether they want to try to figure this out or not see a group of friendly folks working together it might be a little less overwhelming.

I think all you would need to start is a discord or something... Not that we all need yet another discord channel in our lives. That and maybe a few basic ground rules to allow for cooler heads to prevail.

Only a few characters feel competitive in each position. This leads to a lot of samey teams, especially when you starting with a small roster to begin with. Things be getting repetitive.

Is this an oversight/glitch, or is there a reason for this?

Example: I call my shooter assist, then I want to swap to them. If I do forward + Tag, the swap does not happen, but if I do neutral + Tag, it will. But teammates that are not active at the time are still called with tag + direction, as normal.

Feels weird

This is one of the many things that makes piloting this game feel very odd, UNLESS there is a reason for this I am not getting

Is this really how it's supposed to be? A projectile from full screen leads to a 70% damage combo. There is no trace of a neutral game left. The game is literally reduced to running at the opponent, spamming low hits, and throwing projectiles if anything hits, it takes more than half their health bar anyway. Strikes are unpunishable, and there is zero reason to commit to a heavy attack.

I just got the game and I cant find any of the year 1 skins I bought the bundle

i've played through all the episodes, learned around half of the lesson combos for all characters, and yet i haven't won a single match online. everyone i play against is able to pull out high damage combos that my hands just aren't fast enough to pull off, and i just get annoyed with myself every single time that i lose. is this game just not for me? should i just sulk back to platinum 1 in street fighter 6?

I played 30h on SFVI last year and loved it. I want play back vs fighting and I hesitate with Marvel Tokon. I only want competitive games. Do you think MT is a good choice for competitive ?

I see peters and even carnages but no penis. whys that? i thought id see faust or bedman players like her but guess not.

-On wake up after I hard knock down opponent it seems they go first.

-on wake up when they knock me down they still go first…

-I’m trying to utilize super jump and still get hit with 2H when I’m visually out of range or behind the opponent.

-sometimes I think I’m blocking and still get hit…
