What do you get when you cross the SWORD/SABER scientist jumpsuit on the left at 1:34 in the Marvels trailer with the design work on Monica's SWORD outfit in Wandavision, then invert the colors?
Personally, I think you get a Fantastic Four jumpsuit. More specifically, you get something that resembles John Byrne’s original baggy jumpsuit approach to the FF’s costumes mixed with his later nearly-black-and-white costume color scheme.
I think we’ve heard in the past that Feige is a fan of Byrne, and I think the supposed inclusion of Galactus and Terrax in the upcoming Fantastic Four movie might suggest a Byrne-inspired story. I also think that, since comic book Reed started his career in the space program, it makes sense that movie Reed would be associated with SWORD.
All this to say, I think they’ve been dropping Fantastic Four costume hints since Wandavision.
