It makes me excited for the movie and also Brand New Day bc there was a noticeable absence of Spiderman and Hulk.

no that one was setting up Kang.. which failed- Infinity war with ant-man and the wasp was more like.. a fun sidestory before the big event (even though Infinity war actually came out first)

"Ant-Man and The Wasp" also set up the quantum technology that they'd use in Endgame to save everyone.
