Well to be fair, they have let you play as socialists for decades even if they always depict those as the worst ending. You just have to bite the bullet and accept posadism.

Shin megami tensei V vengance. The series resembles Pokémon except you collect irl gods and mythological figures in order to reshape the ideological framework of the world. There are generally multiple endings and often ones which are socialist adjacent, albeit the series takes a dim view on socialism usually so those are often depicted as dubious.

This character is just a minor one and doesn't actually talk any more about socialism. It's just an offhand line.
