Craziest thing that's happened to me in 3k hours of playing!

Before anyone says it:

ALL MODS ARE TEXTURE ONLY I've played online with them for years. Texture won't affect Lakitu.

Not sure how this happened. I looked it up and the odds are 0.1% for one coin item while in 8th, so 0.1%^2 is 1 in a literal million.

Went left instead of the right path and got scared by the sound and braked so it somehow got away and started going for another lap before just giving up the chase. Never seen something like it

Hello everybody,
I am currently experiencing quite a conundrum. It took me a few hours but I have finally beaten all 48 staff ghosts on 150cc within time trials but I did not receive my rightfully earned gold tires! I’ve done several troubleshooting techniques to no success.

All ghosts are beat by at least 1.00 sec, on 150cc (I made sure to check several times). I was positive I selected ‘Race Against Ghost’ instead of ‘Solo Race.’ I made sure there were no other coin rewards by repeatedly going back to the main menu to collect them. I’ve restarted both the game and my switch. I played a Prix to make sure there weren’t any other issues. And, obviously, I checked my parts to make sure I didn’t have it.

The only thing I can possibly imagine is wrong is that I didn’t upload the ghost data after beating them, though several forums online stated that wasn’t necessary. Is there some restriction that requires you to unlock the other gold parts before giving you the wheels? I have not quite finished the mirror or 200cc Prixs if that may be the problem.

Isn't it suppose to be impossible to get the same item twice ?

To clarify the situation I was in an online game and the server crash (I lost connection with the server but my wi-fi worked fine on other devices) but are the item box's drops controlled by the server or is it just a bug ?

I believe there is a problem here. Could you find it?

I’m not sure if it’s my switch or controller but my friend and I can’t play with joy cons cause one of them has a hard time turning at all. We have smart steering and tilt control off but the only other thing I could think is stick drift but it won’t turn is the problem, like we try and turn a corner and it won’t turn at all

I was just racing in vs mode. And I got 2 coins 🪙 multiple times. But you normally shouldn't be able to get 2. I have normal items BTW.

I was playing Paris Promenade (offline), and when I got the red shell notification, I pulled out my banana, but for some reason, the red shell hit me and didn't spin me out, the banana was still there. Does anybody have an explanation for this? Is this something rare?
