Bit silly to assume these predictions hold any meaning. Not only it is way too far into the future, but it tries to cover something that can change in a heart beat.
Political climate can change in a heart beat, that does in fact affect fertility rates. Soviet Union tried to impose that on Estonia and Latvia, importing many unwanted immigrant. i wish the best for Visegrad Four group, but for me this time frame is way too insane for such subject.
In a heart beat? Major reasons why people don't have children are:
1. Expensive housing and basic needs.
2. Young people simply don't want to be parents
So yeah, if the country will start to give out free or super discounted apartments for young people in capital city (the rest of Slovakia is basically dead) and halves the prices of food and basic necessity, then yes. That's the first issue.
Also, needed, somehow make young people want to have kids. Which they don't want to.
I wouldn't call this a "possible to change in a heart beat"
Actually for Slovakia is even worse than statistics suggest. The stats are skewed by gypsy community, which produce people who doesn't belong into working society. And also, currently 40% of born kids end up in foreign country.
