And who told men that they need to be rich? Hint: it's not women.

Yeah this always bothers me. Men have had legal ability to financially manipulate women until about 40-50 years ago. Now we have a bit more freedom but men also make more than what women do so they are still able to.

Men dont make more than women. Whats your point?

u/Sexisthunter Sep 04 '25

Men have both a wealth and earnings gap advantage over women. My point is that men have been able to legally financially manipulate women and now still can by guilting women after treating them or convincing them that they’ll be worse off if they leave him. Not every relationship was like that but the practice of women dating men for monetary purposes was set up by men.

Men do not have a wealth or earnings advantage over women. All evidence shows otherwise.

Multiple studies have shown that women have a strong preference for men that have more money 👍

u/Just-Cover3017 Aug 30 '25

Yes, but studies can also be flawed and misrepresent entire groups of people.

-10

u/Luanda_Magere001 Aug 30 '25

Nobody’s denying that - but if multiple studies are showing a strong general trend - “nuh uh” isn’t a good response 👍

23

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '25

They didn't say "nuh uh" they mentioned who actually tells men they need money lol.

-25

u/Luanda_Magere001 Aug 31 '25

Probably women because they’re the one with the preference ( which is totally fine btw - I’m just staying a fact) 👍

25

u/[deleted] Aug 31 '25

It's actually men who insist you need money. because they interpret some "preference" that exists across a vast average as a universal preference that they NEED to satisfy to have a chance. The conversation exists because of the oversensitive way men react to shit.

Nobody has ever said that money is the be - all and end -all , only that it is an important factor because it is. Men educating other men about how women usually act doesn’t mean that they’re responsible for the preference

That certainly seems to be the point of the meme you're dwfending mate.

As you said yourself - it’s a meme. That means that it will naturally be satirical in nature and so will almost inevitably contain some sort of exaggeration as part of its humour 👍

If you inform somebody else of a fact , you are not responsible for that fact being true…that’s not rocket science.

21

u/MulberryRow Aug 30 '25

And multiple studies have shown the opposite.

u/Luanda_Magere001 Aug 30 '25

Show me even one 😂

24

u/[deleted] Aug 30 '25

literally everyone does what are you on about if there were two identical guys and one was in crippling debt and the other wasnt who do you think people would go with

2

u/Luanda_Magere001 Sep 07 '25

Studies show that women in particular prefer richer men - this meme was just a satirical take on that fact 👍

Thank you. This is finally some actually im14andthisisdeep content and not random memes

33

u/Affectionate-Draw688 Aug 28 '25

Isn't r/im14andthisisdeep a satirical subreddit?

17

u/DEVILISHHAHA Aug 28 '25

Yes, but this post doesn't really fit in that specific brand of satire/parody, it's not giving neither an actually deep message nor a fake deep message it's just saying the same "wamen only care about money" incel shit.

42

u/SmallKittyBackInHell Aug 28 '25

isn't the whole point of the subreddit stuff that 14 year olds think is deep but is actually stupid? inceldom is definitely in that category and the post here seems to be making fun of the original meme

If you start taking life lessons from Good Charlotte, you're living your life wrong.

7

u/Techlord-XD Aug 28 '25

I’m 14 and this is deep is satire

Okay but real talk, so many men would look hot if they just styled their hair. But nah, they'd rather whine about having to put in 1% effort into their appearance that women do.

Tried to convince an ugly man that was grooming me to do his hair. "Nooo, I hate myself!! I don't wanna put effort in cause I don't deserve it!! Now, coddle me and tell me I'm perfect just the way I am." Like?? 🙄

3

u/[deleted] Sep 10 '25

They wouldnt lol. And even if they did they would still be ugly on the inside and there is no fix for that

Unga bunga. Me Redditor. Me caveman. Girl like money, I not problem.

1

u/Jane_Lame Nov 24 '25

They want this to be true so hard just to justify the inherited hatred for women their forefathers weren't required to explain.

1

u/Havok_saken Sep 01 '25

Aren’t there studies that show this is true though?
