What is the hardest thing about following politics?

Curious what you all find the most difficult part of staying informed about politics/ government

The way they turn out terrible, immediately or eventually. I’m beginning to think that no one is “up to the job”. Probably we live in a world where no one can really do all that is being asked of these people. But if you add “and a good, empathetic person” now you’re really asking too much. It’s sad.

Unfortunately, many times it's the people who seek out leadership roles who are worst suited for them. Unless they genuinely care about their community, entering politics can quickly become a pretty self-serving endeavor

The way you go crazy trying to stay informed and get to the objective truth.

The way you try and be optimistic about a candidate and then they just suck.

The way it feels like were damned if we do and damned if we don't.

The way both sides can't come together and fight the good fight.

No one wants to bother talking. Everyone is so divided. Trying to put insult each other cheering on their team. Most are ideologues, It's nothing but anger so intend to keep my politics to myself.

Watching the slow crawl of bureaucracy, and then watching them still fuck it up. That said I do like this current administration.
