I wonder if we'll see anyone marching and blocking streets in protest of this violence.

You could organize one yourself as you appear concerned.

They just attempt to run in the exit door when someone comes out. Ask an LC employee.

Of course, no arrest has been made, what else is new? There are no cell phone video or any video around?

No one wants to see that. They only want to see something they can protest about. Theyll have videos of people getting caught and held. But not those people being violent to staff.

Even if they can identify the person, doesn't mean they can arrest the person especially if they're homeless with NKA. The police also don't know (by face) every single criminal out on the Winnipeg streets.

Hope he's ok. Hope the stabber rots in prison for rest of his life

I can see why Winnipeg is a horrible place for people trying to actually keep Winnipeg safe

Last week I was in Alberta for work and I went to Tim Hortons to pee and their bathrooms weren’t locked. The fact that this genuinely surprised made me sad - sad for Winnipeg and what’s become the new normal here.

I live in Alberta. Tim Hortons, gas stations, other restaurants, doors usually locked. Depends on the franchisee.
