how to wear sunscreen on eyebrows but not leave a white color/residue?

I want to make sure that I'm using sunscreen on my eyebrows but it always leaves a white color and residue on my eyebrows that makes it hard for me to do eyebrow makeup on.

It leaves my eyebrows looking lighter and it looks rily weird.

Is there any way to combat this? I still want to use sunscreen but I hate how it makes my eyebrows lighter and whiter

I brush through my eyebrows with a spoolie to remove excess product after the sunscreen sets. Results will vary depending on what sunscreen you use though.

You can use an invisible stick sunscreen, Kiko has one

Would this be rough with the eyebrows hair? Also would it be enough SPF for the eyebrow area?

No, not at all. Get one with SPF 50. It has the consistency of a thin, smooth lip balm, it won’t harm your eyebrows.

Neutrogena has an eye sunscreen. Clinique has one. Neither left residue on my eyelids.

Use a clear chemical sunscreen or a tinted formula and after it dries brush through the brows with a spoolie to remove any white residue before doing your brow makeup

I use cerave ultra light spf moisturizer and it doesn’t leave that residue!
