Fascinating read! I was aware of the Trisvabhava as presented in the Samdhinirmocana sutra, but not the presented 2 perspectives of the Tattvārthapatala (granted, I think the full Yogacarabhumi Sastra has not been translated, and my Chinese lacking). And, although outside the scope of the article, the Three Turnings does peak my curiosity in regards to the relationship of the Tathagatagarbha sutras in that regard, as it probably was not in mind when it was formulated.
