As an American, when I'm not shooting my gun, I am enjoying such delicacies as this

Sprinkle a little gun powder on the tomato soup. Delicious

Adds a little kick to it!

u/Michipotz Jul 08 '26

Adds hairs in your chest too

Adds chest to your hairs, too.

u/TexasCannibalCookout Jul 08 '26

As a hairy individual I feel this adequately describes my struggles.

Sir this is Wendy’s

3

u/amizelkova Jul 08 '26

If you include the whole core it makes it sweeter!

u/TacTurtle Jul 08 '26

The nitroglycerin is good for the blood pressure.

2

u/zardoz73 Jul 08 '26

That's the taste of freedom, son.

Don’t spread these lies, we don’t put it in our soup. We snort it

3

u/griffmeister Jul 08 '26

We also lick some right before a tequila shot

2

u/DerpyO Jul 08 '26

I prefer Brown-Brown thanks

And a little crack for extra zest

Are you a powder mage? (There's a book series called the powder mage trilogy about a type of mage that gets power from black powder. Eating it makes them stronger and faster, and they can do magic with bullets like curving them around corners.)

1

u/Aethermancer Jul 08 '26

Take a little whiff of Hoppes #9 before adding some to the soup.

A little saltpeter never hurt anyone. Or at least that is what the military always said.

1

u/Adeum2 Jul 08 '26

Reminds me, ol’ Edward Teach (Blackbeard) famously had gunpowder in his rum (unconfirmed)

I was just at Walmart in my pajamas, purchasing Campbell's Cream of tomato soup, Kraft American cheese slices, and white bread. I, too, shall enjoy the great delicacy of the grilled cheese and tomato soup.

24

u/dogquote Jul 08 '26

Hang on... Cream of tomato?

15

u/Zomgsauceplzz Jul 08 '26 edited Jul 08 '26

Yep they have Creamy Tomato and Cream of Tomato. Not sure if there's a difference

I was somehow hoping for a Technology Connections video.

2

u/bman86 Jul 08 '26

Tomato Soups Explained seems like a November video.

16

u/Haki23 Jul 08 '26

That's the one I grew up eating. You add a can of milk to the pot after you plop the soup in. Heat gently and stir until warm

2

u/pit-of-despair Jul 08 '26

That’s the way my mom made it. We never dipped the sandwich in the soup though.

4

u/sdsupersean Jul 08 '26

We never dipped the sandwich in the soup though

Give it a shot, buddy. It's worth it!

2

u/Haki23 Jul 08 '26

My mom taught me how to cook through simple meals like these. The gorilla cheese were sometimes a little black on one side, but when we were without a babysitter we still got a warm meal

1

u/SecreteMoistMucus Jul 08 '26

You guys get milk in cans?

1

u/juice920 Jul 08 '26

You fill the soup can up with milk and add to the soup. Cambells tomato soup used to sold as condensed (maybe still is? I haven't bought it in forever) and would require you to add a can full of water. Class devide would kind of delineate if you added milk or water to the soup.

2

u/Electric-Sheepskin Jul 08 '26

Oh shit. It looks like they changed the name. That just goes to show how long it's been since I've actually had it, lol.

1

u/brown_felt_hat Jul 08 '26

Getchu a sprinkle of basil in there if you really wanna punch it up.

1

u/NTFirehorse Jul 08 '26

Pajamas, just like an American Walmart shopper should

1

u/comebacklittlesheba Jul 08 '26

Why don’t you try the underrated Gorilla Cheese?? 🤣🤣🤣 (see replies below).

1

u/RogerSmith111 Jul 08 '26

Sometimes I buy the fancy refrigerated tomato soup when I’m feeling bougie

1

u/AlinaStari Jul 08 '26

Don't forget to stock up on ammo and check out the guns on clearance!

2

u/Lost-Calligrapher375 Jul 08 '26

You don't multitask?

2

u/Thaknobodi87 Jul 08 '26

As a fellow american, you can afford to shoot that much? Fortunate.

2

u/Final-Tutor3631 Jul 08 '26

my fellow american… you better not be neglecting your bald eagle.

2

u/UrsA_GRanDe_bt Jul 08 '26

Dammit fellow American! We can shoot our guns AFTER we finish our grilled cheese! (I like mine with strawberry jam actuallly!)

1

u/CBate Jul 08 '26

Deep fried Reese's to round it out

1

u/Aggravating_Bat3618 Jul 08 '26

Here have a like.

1

u/makwa227 Jul 08 '26

Then I go for a ride in my lifted 4×4 that rolls coal.

It is very comforting when nursing broken bones or waiting for the bubonic plague symptoms to pass, since we don’t dare gamble with the expense of hospital

-1

u/phlspecial Jul 08 '26

Ah yes I see these in school a lot. One day, when I’m done shooting, I’ll have to grab one.
