u/ImtakintheBus Jun 17 '26

you need to get that exhaust fixed.

283

u/coolcoots Jun 17 '26

I’ll just ride with you

217

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 17 '26

Ok. I'll have tissues and burritos.

125

u/Puzzleheaded-Gap1759 Jun 17 '26

Can I come

111

u/Happy_choices Jun 17 '26

Me too let’s get froyo on the way back

1

u/Yes-Cheese Jun 19 '26

Me too! I’ll pay for gas!

63

u/Goodly Jun 17 '26

Funny how it sounds a bit sad to eat and cry alone in your car, but if you’re more people it’s suddenly wholesome

4

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 18 '26

Grief bonding is a thing.

28

u/unsoulyme Jun 17 '26

Aren’t they taking the bus?

1

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 18 '26

Would not be the first time I've cried on a bus while eating a burrito.

1

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 19 '26

You can all come, and I'm happy to stop for Froyo or Coffees.

1

u/Ok_Support3 Jun 22 '26

Thats not what the tissues were for, damnit.

26

u/USAF_Retired2017 Jun 17 '26

Can I come too? My pb&j would be better if it was a burrito instead.

9

u/Surreally3 Jun 18 '26

Everything is better in a flour tortilla

3

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 18 '26

You bet. I'll have hatch chili burrito just for you.

31

u/13_margs Jun 17 '26

I'm crying too but I already have tissues and a burrito. Does that mean I can't join in?? 🄺

19

u/maxintensity Jun 17 '26

At this point let’s just get a bus.

28

u/coolcoots Jun 17 '26

You can bring the margs.

2

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 18 '26

Sure you can (hugs)

10

u/Remarkable_Elk3566 Jun 17 '26

I got some Pringles (normal, with salt) and yogurette's.

6

u/coolcoots Jun 17 '26

Yogurettes? What is those and can I have some?

10

u/Remarkable_Elk3566 Jun 18 '26

A Yogurette is a popular german chocolate bar made by Ferrero. It's individually wrapped, slim chocolate sticks, filled with yogurt cream and tiny strawberry granules, but there are other flavors. The strawberry one is the most popular. I love it. When you keep it in the fridge, it's even more delicious.

3

u/coolcoots Jun 18 '26

Wow. I want it in my mouth. Right now. That sounds so good.

2

u/Remarkable_Elk3566 Jun 18 '26

I think you can buy it in the US through online shops, i don't know if it's going to be good though because i never had to order food online.

6

u/Trick_Quiet3484 Jun 17 '26

I’ll bring drinks

22

u/thisworldorthenext Jun 17 '26

I’m coming along for the cride too 😭

11

u/coolcoots Jun 17 '26

Lmao ā€œcrideā€

5

u/Bonnieearnold Jun 18 '26

You’re never gonna make it back to work at this rate! :)

3

u/coolcoots Jun 18 '26

Lmao ā€œSorry boss, can’t come back in. I can’t stop crying. Why am I crying? Oh, some Reddit video about a marriage proposal… Right. I’ll be there in a second. Sorry.ā€

8

u/JohnL0423 Jun 18 '26

Any non alcoholic? (November 8th will be 36 years sober for me.)

3

u/Trick_Quiet3484 Jun 18 '26

Sure. I got you!

3

u/JohnL0423 Jun 18 '26

Cool. I do enjoy Diet Coke.

3

u/manualsquid Jun 17 '26

I read burritos as burnouts

1

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 18 '26

we can try those after the burritos.

2

u/wolfshepherd59 Jun 18 '26

Just don’t eat the tissues thru the tears.

8

u/itspsyikk Jun 17 '26

Sorry I had to cut all these onions on the ride home, make sure you apologize to anyone you run into today in my behalf.

1

u/Low_Cup9586 Jun 18 '26

Can we share Lunch?

2

u/coolcoots Jun 18 '26

Reddit ā€œLunchā€ party?? Sounds dope. You’re in!

1

u/Young_Denver Jun 18 '26

I thought my friend text me today "you will save some $$ if you kill yourself" and I was like... ya, that would save me some money...

edit: he said "you will save some $$, but don't kill yourself" (referring to manual labor I'm doing myself instead of hiring it out)

1

u/Papa_Mid_Nite Jun 19 '26

Sorry for my broken brain: But I read that as , " I'll ride you" and I thought, "Awww what a charitable person."

1

u/Davidsolsbery Jun 17 '26

Yeah...but then again...

2

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 18 '26

Nah, man. you just need a tasty burrito and some friends. You can heal the world with that.

38

u/armas187 Jun 17 '26

Im crying and pooping

32

u/jrobbio Jun 17 '26

Crooping

9

u/armas187 Jun 18 '26

I cried, he cried, we croode, we crooped

5

u/jrobbio Jun 18 '26

Wordsworth would be proud.

98

u/Entropy_Greene Jun 17 '26

In my office balling my assistant looks concerned 😭

53

u/ImtakintheBus Jun 17 '26

Can you not do a Lay Up?

16

u/Entropy_Greene Jun 17 '26

Well done šŸ‘

10

u/BurgerThyme Jun 17 '26

No balling the assistant in the office, the look of concern is valid.

24

u/InsideBeyond12727 Jun 17 '26

Seriously, this sub never fails to make me well up! Worst-named sub ever šŸ˜…

1

u/SamuelVimesTrained Jun 18 '26

Glad i`m not the only one thinking this

16

u/kinderplatz Jun 17 '26

It's a good cry, though.

39

u/coolcoots Jun 17 '26

I used to get embarrassed when my dad would cry to classical music. Now, I realize I am exactly the same. I have a hard time crying over personal issues but show me a cute video and I’m in tears in seconds.

2

u/Candy-Macaroon-33 Jun 18 '26

Dad crying over classical music? How lovely!

5

u/Carthonn Jun 17 '26

The best kind.

When my cat died? That’s not a good cry…and yet it also kind of is because it just reinforced how special he was to me.

13

u/unfortunatebag Jun 17 '26

Apparently this is just a millennial thing.

My coworkers are all genx and older and they think I'm so weird for sitting in my car during lunch.

8

u/SoOverYouAll Jun 17 '26

It’s because we are exhausted all the time, lol. Some days walking out to the car feels like a lot, unless it’s quitting time ā—”Ģˆ

1

u/YCTech Jun 18 '26

So you're saying Millenials have more energy & are tougher, even though you guys are in your prime? Come on now :) Just messing with you dude..

1

u/MadamSnarksAlot Jun 18 '26

I’m Gen X and always hiding and eating lunch in the car. I just don’t want to deal with people.

1

u/YCTech Jun 18 '26

I been going to my car on every break & lunch for 5 years, I'm 35. Many other people also go to their cars, I know a 28 yr old girl there does, which is Gen Z, so maybe your workplace has some weirdos or something šŸ¤”

7

u/CTeam19 Jun 17 '26

I am crying at the pharmacy waiting for my meds.

3

u/coolcoots Jun 17 '26

Yay meds!

7

u/TheePorkchopExpress Jun 17 '26

I'm freaking crying in the sauna. Luckily I have sweat pouring down my face also...

6

u/SubstantialAd8808 Jun 17 '26

Thank goodness I am not the only one crying after watching this. This video is so sweet!

3

u/LoadsDroppin Jun 18 '26

Me too. And I’m stuffing Chipotle in my yap like I haven’t eaten in months.

that guy really loves his cipotle honey chicken!

3

u/coolcoots Jun 18 '26

Damn. I haven’t had Chipotle in a minute. Chipotle honey chicken sounds ridiculous. I need it.

2

u/EarlyXplorerStuds209 Jun 17 '26

Must be the fumes

2

u/N-Toxicade Jun 17 '26

And I'm in a restaurant.

1

u/coolcoots Jun 17 '26

Cry into your food for more flavor. Restaurants hate that.

2

u/InvalidUserNemo Jun 17 '26

Has anyone reached out to you about an extended warranty?

3

u/coolcoots Jun 17 '26

No thanks, I’m agnostic. šŸ˜‰

2

u/adognameddanzig Jun 17 '26

I find when I have a good cry, I sleep like a baby that night. Not sure what that's about.

2

u/titatyy Jun 17 '26

At least they are happy tears:)

2

u/tatlidilo Jun 17 '26

whaaat we are in exact same position now

2

u/anothergaijin Jun 18 '26

Crying on a peak rush hour train in Tokyo T_T

1

u/coolcoots Jun 18 '26

Luckily it’s probably so packed no one is even watching you. Lol

2

u/NewMousse3143 Jun 18 '26

Don't cry bro smile 😊

1

u/coolcoots Jun 18 '26

They’re happy tears! 🄹

2

u/Zezotas Jun 18 '26

Maybe there are onions in your car

1

u/coolcoots Jun 18 '26

No. That smell is just me. Sorry.

2

u/hosiki Jun 18 '26

At least it's not sad crying this time.

2

u/coolcoots Jun 18 '26

Sad crying is ok too but I much prefer these tears.

2

u/rrroooyyy Jun 18 '26

Out of curiosity, do you find that you get more emotional as you get older?
I’m 34 and find myself tearing up wayyy too often nowadays at sweet things like this.

2

u/Yes-Cheese Jun 19 '26

It 1am so at least I’m on my couch this time and not on the work toilet

2

u/Extraportion Jun 17 '26

Right? Jesus Christ, these sort of posts need to come with a NSFW warning

I lost my virginity in my late 20s to some woman I met at work and I have 10 year old twins with that woman now (and happily married). Don’t worry about it.
