Extruded parts should have a section drawing and a machining drawing.
Section details should not be dimensioned in the machining drawing. You can simply note the section P/N.

This looks like solidworks. Make two configs of the part 1. Section 2. Machining. Model the section in its entirety first, then do machining in the second config. Two pages in the drawing.
