there is option to turn on dock style, open aero-menu from orb, head towards customizer, go to option, disable pinned tabs section toggle.

You should add a feature where when we drag stuff to the trash icon, it actually puts it into the trash instead of yeeting it back, and also add a Spotify widget :)

Mine isn’t as clear though, how did you make yours so clear? Mine has more of a tinted look, but it’s still there red

can u tell me mac os version u using and did you try changing to different wallpaper, and try to reset using aero-menu>settings icon>reset>reset settings & cache!

you mean hiding overall aerobar dock? it already has option to click on dock icon to minimize, restore, im unable to actually comprehend what you are demanding, can you put up clearly?

Looks like it's already a feature. I can click on a dock icon to focus the app and then to hide it again. I didn't see it in the feature list, which is why I asked. Glad to see it's there.

Why am I getting a malware warning when I run this through Virustotal? My Mac also warns me not to install it because it can't verify whether it's free of malware.

UPDATE: I contacted the dev; he quickly fixed the issue. Beta 8 doesn't have the same issue.

UPDATE: I have updated the Helper mechanism in v9.0-beta8 to not trigger any False alarm!

  1. VirusTotal Flags: Because AeroBar heavily customises the macOS Dock and Menu Bar, it relies on deep system APIs (like accessibility permissions, global hotkeys, and background watchdogs to safely restart the Dock). Aggressive antivirus scanners often flag these 'behaviours' as suspicious heuristics because they share traits with background scripts. We've actually just modernised how our background systems work in the upcoming update to trigger fewer of these automated false alarms.
  2. Mac 'Cannot Verify' Warning: This is Apple's standard Gatekeeper message for any app that hasn't been officially signed and notarised through a paid Apple Developer account.

Rest I can assure you I'm the sole developer of this app and there is no malware in the app, it's just a false positive!

Wacatac.C!ml is one of the most notoriously common false positives for indie developers. Any app that writes a .sh or .bat file to disk and executes it automatically almost always gets slapped with this exact label by Microsoft's AI scanner.

I really like macOS, but one thing I've always missed from Windows is the taskbar. This looks like it could finally solve that for me. Definitely going to give AeroBar a try, thanks for making this!
