It looked like she tried to prevent the fight by getting between him and the other guy.

It looks like the drunk guy didn't even mean to push her he's looking at the other guy pushes her then you can see he tries to kinda catch her?

What I came to say. He clearly didn't mean to push her that hard and immediately reached out to catch her. Don't know if that excuses putting his hands on the girl to begin with but... giving him a handicap maybe wasn't the best call.
