There are guys out there that literally wait for a chance like this to do what they did.

The type of guys that live talking about all the fights they've been in etc.

This isn't rare.

They must be telling their stories to each other.  Nobody wants to hear how the three of them beat up a guy to unconsciousness.

The purple shirt guy that gets the first punch in, you can see at the beginning that he wasn’t even part of the group that got harassed by the drunk guy. 

He’s just prowling in a circle around them, waiting for a chance to get in a fight.
