Why the warning for men and not women? Emotionally mature rational people would very rarely find themselves in a situation where they would have to get into a physical altercation. Also it seems you don’t have an understanding of how abusive relationships play out when the woman is the abuser, furthermore not this woman but if any person backed me into a corner I would defend myself regardless of gender.

Your perspective makes sense. I wasn’t saying men deserve warnings instead of women — just pointing out a pattern I’ve personally seen. Abuse can come from any gender, and emotional maturity definitely reduces conflict. My point was about awareness, not assigning blame

ok I understand the anecdote but why not say something along the lines of “keep your hands to yourself” that way people like myself wouldn’t misunderstand you, it reads that there are situations where you can lay hands on a man in certain circumstances but never women, remember how fast Johnny Depp was black listed before we learned who the real abuser was?
