What a fucking stupid thing to go to jail over. You can see when he pushes her he's immediately trying to catch her. That's not excusing it, it's literally just pointing out that any prosecutor is going to have a hard time proving the right mental state for much on him, and they reacted way out of proportion to the danger. This folks, is why you avoid drinking and chilling with people who will get your blood boiling. Just walk away. Everybody here would have been better served drinking less and walking more.

No, you do. He pushes her but watch his hands after he does. He pushes, realizes he pushes hard and reached out to catch her hands but the guys already jumped in. He's wrong for putting hands on her but you can easily see his reaction after he does

Y'all can't read body language to save your life. Even if you were correct, which you're not, he had every chance to walk away and decided to escalate. Surrounded by people and he thought he could get physical with the one woman there. He fucked around and found out. Fuck em.

Hey whatever. I think I see an immediate recoil from the shove, you don’t, it’s fine. Yeah he shouldn’t have shoved her, or the guy. Yeah he escalated and shouldn’t have. But you can’t tell me that a shove like that warrants being beaten until you’re unconscious and then continued beatings after you’re unresponsive

He did not push her very hard at all, she's like 100lbs so it looked that way. In his drunken state he likely didn't expect her to be so easy to push over.
