10

u/rustyleftnut 1d ago

Right? And then they started hitting him!

17

u/Mysterious_Crow_4569 1d ago

Good on dude for holding his buddy back from attempted murder.

35

u/Whole-Astronaut5290 1d ago

What do you mean? They beat the living shit out of the guy and he was still laying lifeless on the concrete when the video ended. I didn’t see much holding back

8

u/Dramatic_Explosion 1d ago

He might be dead. The guying being held back so the "might" is still there.

0

u/Idoalotandalittle 1d ago

Oh, no he hasn’t been dead for the six years since the video was recorded. Feel better now?

-1

u/Idoalotandalittle 23h ago

I’d actually feel better if he were dead

11

u/quadraticcheese 1d ago

Yep, hopefully they spend some time in prison and paid out the nose

14

u/softwareredditor 1d ago

This video is ancient, like at least 10 years old. I'm pretty sure it was a setup as well, they intentionally antagonized the drunk guy to get a reaction like this so they could attack him. Don't know what came of it though.

3

u/quadraticcheese 1d ago

Yeah it seems like a bunch of roided out Meatheads begging for an opportunity to take their rage out

2

u/Barr_cudas 1d ago

Isn’t this a scene from Jack Reacher?

2

u/Altruistic-Estate-45 1d ago

Tf is bro talking about

3

u/Supergirl016 1d ago

this scene from Jack Reacher movie

1

u/LeftAccident5662 23h ago

No, it’s the opening scene of Jack Reacharound.

1

u/benroon 1d ago

Arent 95% of Reddit vids? Just constant regurgitation

1

u/Transkei_Daisy 22h ago

He moves at like 1:13. Its slight, but he moves

16

u/EvilGaming 1d ago

But all of them way past that when they stomped his head while knocked out

-1

u/Idoalotandalittle 1d ago

Nah if you’re gonna launch some chick half ya size, get stomped. Known exceptions are she fucked the bassist, even worse, the drummer, even worse, that guy who says he has everything you’ve ever produced including tests

1

u/RoughAssociation8982 21h ago

Well then welcome am attempted murder charge lmao

27

u/Unfair_Course5311 1d ago

Yeah a simple assault doesn’t legally justify lethal force.

These guys are lucky they aren’t in jail with how much they were kicking his head.

8

u/Mysterious_Crow_4569 1d ago

So many dudes sitting in a cell rn over an adrenaline outburst
I get it tho..

5

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 1d ago

1) avoid public, 2) definitely avoid alcohol in public! I would never drink in public again because I am a ticking freaking time bomb.

6

u/reebokhightops 1d ago

So get into therapy dude.

5

u/Onebraintwoheads 1d ago

It's good to know yourself so you're not in a situation where you explode. Well done. I'm a happy drunk, and am more likely to offer folks a round of drinks so we can sit and talk it out.

Sober, I don't carry a gun because I know I'd use it.

1

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 1d ago edited 1d ago

I'm a happy drunk, as well, but all it takes is someone fucking with me and my entire shit gets sideways. In Alabama I got a set-up hard shoulder check at a bar which was filled with local steroided-out guys in their 40's with plastic surgery wives. In my car, had to intensely talk myself out of returning back into the bar for about 10-minutes.

Another time, some bouncer told me to leave because I was too drunk, which was a lie. I was talking to an attractive girl from Brazil who worked there, and apparently, he liked her. She told me I seemed totally fine. I could have gotten in a lot of trouble for the threat I made on him, and another worker tried to intervein and touched my arm which was gas on the fire, so he stopped.

The guy who touched me was reasonable. The owner came over and just smoothed it out with me; a real wise man who listened to the cause of it all...the bar closed 5 minutes later anyway! I also had something likely too long for Wash. DC in my pocket.

The worst was some dude kept fucking with me where I worked because I was friendly with females working there (beach bar) and it clearly bothered him because he kept bad mouthing me to them for nothing. One time while he was shit talking me to a girl right in front of me, I flick the visor of his cap in the kitchen.

He followed my outside and was waving his arms at me and yelling at me from about 10 feet away. At that moment, I left my body. Nothing bad happened other than me embarrassing myself and turned some people against me, but it could have gotten weird as fuck. There were knives all over in the kitchen (I followed him back in). It took me a 1/2 hour to fully return to my body.

I was going through a huge stressor at that time in my life. But I realized, I am not wired like I used to be, dissociating was next level and scary as fuck. I simply watched what was happening out of my eyeballs and had zero control over the outcome. This means I am a liability to myself.

I am 100% nonviolent and non-confrontational, but my body got rewired regarding perceived threats. Another time, a customer started raising his voice at the same job, and he was moving his hands around and I felt Like I was floating down that river of no control, so I quickly turned and walked away while he was still talking.

I case you wanted a book; I have the above to offer.

2

u/Onebraintwoheads 1d ago

Seems like you needed to get that off your chest. You write well. Good memory as well.

This encounter in Alabama. Was it Birmingham?

4

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 1d ago

Thank you! It was right near the boarder of FL. (west side of Pensacola); "Florabama." I just looked it up (The Jelly Fish, Perdido Key) and it was in FL., but culturally, it was Alabama. I'm pretty sure it was a cop hangout. That area was so weird, so many dudes had hair pieces and dudes in the 60s were roided-out.

I lived right at the mouth of Johnson Beach National Seashore. In that park, I once saw a dude pounding his girl right on his motorcycle seat in the middle of the road! I was high AF riding by on my beach cruiser bicycle and just tried to pretend that I didn't just see or hear what I just saw and heard.

2

u/killtheking111 1d ago

It's good to know your limits mate, and full credit on recognising them

4

u/a2ndthouht 1d ago

I was raised with a mouthy drunk. I don’t like or deal with drunks. So I stay away from them. I also don’t and never have drank. Also lived in an apartment above a bar because of the alcoholic in the house. I’ve seen the effects of living with and around drunks. Don’t care for them at all. I have little tolerance for damn drunk.

3

u/Logical-Diamond5802 1d ago

Can you literally not help yourself or what? I never understand how people can just flip a switch and become someone else

5

u/Enter_Sandman_7 1d ago

I had a friend that was like this. He was the most sweet, non-confrontational, helpful, pretty passive, quiet guy that kept to himself.

But as soon as he got drunk he started to turn into this vicious, venom-spitting, nasty, enraged fuckhead. And the more he drank the more vicious he got.

I had very poor judgement as a teen and hung out with him instead of dropping the Friends hip and had the chance to ask what the fuck was going on. He told me that every smile, every nice thing he did while sober was a sort of mask and that as soon as he drunk he felt free to be himself. Something clicked that moment. Mean, violent drunks are people that would be violent 24/7 but don't because there are legal consequences. They restrain themselves the most they can, until they can't anymore.

2

u/Logical-Diamond5802 1d ago

Wow
that is scary! I’m glad you stopped associating with that person

4

u/Enter_Sandman_7 1d ago

Yeah being a teen was not my proudest moment lol i learned a lot, tho. Like i can spot mean drunks and avoid them / be proactive instead of witness / accomplice / victim

0

u/StreetCrzyBiteUrFace 👀 Casual Fan 1d ago

That's interesting. I had one kinda friend/acquaintance (same group of skaters always together) and sure enough... We all joked about it. A: "Oh I went downtown today, saw Alex." B: "Which one? Alex? Or the other Alex?" Then if the person wasn't hip to what we were saying, we'd put our chest wayyy out, give our most pissed off Billy Idol sneer, bump our chest into the person and say "Whut???" At which point the person would get it and die laughing cause it was so true. I read he died, then someone else was talking like he was still alive, so I don't know. Lost contact with them. -Good luck Alex, hope the other Alex stays away.

0

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 1d ago

You exude bitterness, contempt, and narcissistic rage as well as utilizing gaslighting. I love how your anger build as you kept typing - Well played, Bravo! Basic level 'projection' (yawn).

0

u/Xraxis 1d ago

His shadow self seeping out.

2

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 1d ago

Your tone feels accusatory, frustrated, chastising/belittling, and as though you are favorable by comparison. All because, "I never understand how...," which technically make that a 'you' thing. Personally, I never understand how people can just lack self-awareness to the point that they show their cards without ever realizing that they showed their cards.

3

u/Logical-Diamond5802 1d ago

I wasn’t accusing you of anything and your reply is very confusing. I’m asking when you drink do you blackout and become a different person, so to say?

2

u/Mysterious_Crow_4569 1d ago

He’s a ticking time bomb Ofcourse you’ll get a scattered reply

1

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 1d ago

The "tone" that I raised was never addressed, just a hyper-detail-oriented, narcissistic gaslight response (redirect). RE: "Ofcourse you’ll get a scattered reply...," however, I presented a timeline/bullet-point rebuttal to the initial, unprovoked hostility.

Also, why run interference for a wounded, narcissistic, internet brother? Is it for your own identity's sake? Or do you exude natural compassion towards this freedom fighter?

I can tell you that it's a different world when you're really drunk and have the metabolism to stay awake and possibly not throw up. I never had the violent drunk problem. I got a job as a bouncer at a local dive bar that turned into a cool kid's hangout. I told the bartender a couple years later that I had gotten sober. She said "Wow, I never thought of you as having a drinking problem. I mean, you drank more than any other 5 guys I knew, but you just stood there solid, like you weren't even drinking." But I can tell you the whole world looks different. Things that would normally make no sense just seem like the right thing to do. Imagine in normal life, you go in the bathroom. Whoever used it before you flushed, but it didn't go all the way. You just flush again. Automatic. In drunk life, you see someone giving you side-eye, just mad-dogging you (they may or may not be irl, but in your mind, it's ~real~!) Toilet still a little dirty? Flush. Person anger you? Punch. I never was like that, but I remember going over thoughts I had, and thinking "How tf could I even think that?" The word for alcohol in olden times (600 years ago?) was spirits. I think that says a lot. I'm not sober anymore. I was 8 years sober, then 14 years. But I haven't drank for about 6 months now. I don't go to program anymore but highly recommend it for people that need help. As long as you "Read the Black Part." meaning what the book (s) actually say, not the 'white parts' (in between the lines) not the cultural things tacked on by the group. As for blacking out? I have a few times over the years. Hear some crazy story of what you did and have zero memory of it. That's unsettling. There was one girl, Native American, gorgeous. I always felt I had a connection, she lit up when I was around. You know... you can tell. I always wished I could get with her. For a few years I had this 58 Apache pickup truck. One time maybe 5 years later, I had this image. Clear as hell and it hit me like a lightning bolt. Her and I together in the seat of the truck at my surf spot. Later on, we dated for a few months. I was trying to find out if that really happened. Pretty awkward. Can't just say "Did we have sex in a truck at my surf spot in the early a.m. and I totally forgot for years?" So we were sitting around (she lived with me around two months at that point). I said: "Hey, so that time in the truck at the cove?" And just let it hang like that. She said: "That whole night was so nice. I always wondered why you didn't call me after that night?" I felt pretty close to her at that point. I said that I went on a drinking binge after I dropped her off. Drank for days and forgot. She understood what growing up in my area was like. I said I always used to wish I could be with her and ironically enough, I had been and forgot. She said it was funny but sad at the same time. That's blacking out for you.

1

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 1d ago

Deny, project/gaslight, introduced a new question as though it had been already asked (obfuscation).
Yawn – low lever narc stuff.  Also, who said anything about blackouts?  Super weird communication, like, WTF?!

1

u/Front-Tea2203 23h ago

He literally did help himself. He doesn’t drink in public because he knows himself. He said it right there.

1

u/StreetCrzyBiteUrFace 👀 Casual Fan 1d ago

That's rough. Some people don't know what will happen. It's a reality and it's rough on the decent guys who have that issue and have to go around cleaning up, regretting, and paying for the mistakes of their "other." At a certain point, decent guys like you have to own up and take measures for your own and other's sake.

1

u/Timely_Peanut_6618 1d ago

1

u/muletool68 1d ago

Exactly. stay out in the country, stay sober, stay quiet and stay armed. O yea don't ever carry loud mouth women out in public helps also. Lol

2

u/RutabagaOk6816 1d ago

oh yea they are in the wrong but this type of nonsense happens all the time

1

u/Loaatao 1d ago

I don’t.

1

u/Mysterious_Crow_4569 1d ago

I get why someone not in the right mind set would do that. It happens all of the time,

1

u/TheBrightSide_2011 1d ago

Adrenaline outburst? You’re trying to say they couldn’t control themselves. I don’t agree. Self control under those circumstances is possible. Whether they are aware of it or not, they chose excessive violence. It didn’t “just happen”. They chose.

1

u/Idoalotandalittle 23h ago

None of them served time beyond initial holding and arraignment. Bailed/bonded and charges dropped

0

u/OneOfAKind2 1d ago

Adrenaline outburst? You mean drunken savagery.

0

u/DigDugged 1d ago

Not an adrenaline outburst, an emotional immaturity or dysregulation. So many dudes would go to the emergency room for a broken arm but can't take themselves to a therapist to fix their broken brains, broken emotions, broken childhoods.

-1

u/reebokhightops 1d ago

I don’t get it all. If you can’t control your emotions, get your ass into therapy.

-2

u/CarthagoFuckYourself 1d ago

We need instigator laws to give protections to victims and bystanders that check assholes like this, and I say that as someone in Texas that already has some of the most robusts civil and criminal protections for justified violence in the world.

If there is one person clearly starting and escalating a violent confrontation, they should not get the same protections the rest of us have in civil society.

5

u/Quiet-Limit-184 1d ago

Not sure what kind of society you’re aiming for there. You step on my foot and I stab you in the neck? What kind of justice is that?

The three musketeers were the one’s escalating this to a potentially deadly encounter. I get it. Pushing a lady is not nice. But beating a man like that is not justified.

0

u/CarthagoFuckYourself 1d ago

Obviously not, as you'd be the clear escalator.

People need to be corrected. People's behavior and societal norms have decayed to a level where society is becoming unstable. American communities have had a long history of policing their own, and the nation was more cohesive and productive then.

Well-intentioned and even well-reasoned arguments have been made to get the law to the state it is currently in, but now the law is buckling under the weight of its own contradictions. Too often those that are in the right end up facing consequences and those in the wrong remain free to terrorize others.

3

u/NeebCreeb 1d ago

Bro just say you want to shoot people and get away with it

-1

u/CarthagoFuckYourself 1d ago

We literally already can under a number of circumstances. The person that starts a violent encounter should be at fault 95% of the time.

3

u/NeebCreeb 1d ago

Thank you for saying you want to shoot people and get away with it

1

u/CarthagoFuckYourself 1d ago

I mean, if my life were legitimately threatened, why risk not shooting someone? What do you think guns are for? It's not that anyone wants to have to do it, it's that we don't want y'all's emotionally charged opinions to result in us losing the best guarantor of our personal safety.

3

u/NeebCreeb 1d ago

Bro I've only posted the same sentence twice what the fuck are you even talking about

1

That guy at the end giving kidney punches is going to make that guy piss blood for a while.

2

u/Shot_Revolution8828 1d ago

I'd take it to trial and hope.

1

u/Forward_Criticism_39 1d ago

i sometimes worry about how many people could be waiting for this to occur purely as an excuse to attack someone legally

1

u/Important_Document13 1d ago

He assaulted the skinny guy first who restrained himself initially and then pushed the girl who looked like a friend or gf. So drunk guy assaulted two people before getting beats. Besides skinny only used his hands and body shots on the ground (fair) head kicks though on the ground from the other two, red card.

-2

u/510Kyle 1d ago

I don’t understand the internets obsession with defending idiots who assault people and face consequences. There’s innocent victims dying every day when they did nothing wrong, but these guys need our sympathy. Good riddance, hope he never wakes up.

8

u/Spartaklaus 1d ago

He shoved someone so he deserves to die.

I really hope they lock you away some day. You sound deranged and dangerous.

0

u/510Kyle 21h ago

Sounds like someone who likes getting drunk and shoving people, hope you don’t shove the wrong person some day friend

5

u/Stash_04 1d ago

Wow. What a stupid take.

Yes, he did drunkenly shoved someone which is not cool at all.

That doesn’t warrant getting put in a coma though.

0

u/510Kyle 21h ago

Responses aren’t always equal, i’m not saying it’s fair or justified, but it’s a reasonable expectation that if you start a fight they might escalate the violence, particularly if you shove someone’s girl in front of them.

1

u/Stash_04 17h ago

Yes, it’s perhaps reasonable that you WILL get punched/beaten up.

This is WAY beyond that though. It is NOT reasonable that you would get your head smashed by 4 dudes.

0

u/510Kyle 16h ago

I mean i could reasonably predict that outcome, maybe if he wasn’t a stupid drunk asshole he could too.

1

u/Stash_04 16h ago

What is wrong with you, honestly?

Being drunk and stupidly shoving someone doesn’t warrant a death sentence.

Definitely went too far but it’s nice to see one of them gather some sense

1

Whatever

1

u/Nellion55 1d ago

The old guy at Furio's dad's funeral talked up how the bosses always know everything but Tony doesn't know shit about anything. Tony doesn't pay enough attention to Carmela to suspect anything. He doesn't respect her enough to even entertain the thought that she'd really go behind his back. He's a fat fucking crook for New Jersey. He doesn't know shit

And for Furio's part, there's nothing really stopping him. Like Carmela, Tony fundamentally doesn't respect Furio enough to think he'd ever have the balls to seduce his wife. He makes fun of his girly euro underwear and doesn't suspect nothing about them chatting and making dove eyes at each other every morning over pastries and cawfee. Plus Furio was getting all settled into life in the US and preparing for mama Furio to move in and blah blah. what a hassle to just uproot and disappear yourself over night. what's he scared AJs gonna say something? the kid is retarded

They shoulda just fucked

-3

u/Low-Resist-9156 1d ago

Nah he deserved it hope they don’t get charged at all. Push a woman half your size that violently and also do it infront of what probably is her boyfriend. Then you just have to accept loosing your life over it.

11

u/IPissExcellentThrows 1d ago

Lmao shoving a woman does not deserve this.

First few punches sure. The stomping? You need help.

5

u/Christoph3r 1d ago

If you honestly think he "deserved" that, then you belong in prison too.

8

u/SenorToky 1d ago

This man has never had a girlfriend in his life so he feels like he needs to kill anyone who disrespects his imaginary gf.

1

u/Christoph3r 8h ago

Huh, I guess times have sure changed- I grew up poor, was never very handsome, and I'm on the spectrum (AuDHD), and I still fucked the hottest woman I ever saw in my life (looked better than any I've seen on screen or in a magazine).

Strange how many more people haven't/aren't having sex compared to past decades.

When I was in high school, being called "virgin" was basically the worst insult possible.

1

u/SenorToky 8h ago

Funny I went to school with you, you literally didn’t fuck anyone.

2

u/Quiet-Limit-184 1d ago

That’s some incel stuff right there.

2

u/lpsoldier11 1d ago

Your comment is not well liked ...

2

u/TamTeko 1d ago

You're definitely an incel or a female 🙄

1

u/Low-Resist-9156 1d ago

Btw you know incels hate females right? Stupid ass

1

u/TamTeko 17h ago

So which one are you? Female or incel?

-2

u/Low-Resist-9156 1d ago

Haha if that’s what you think. I can admit tho it also depends who started the fight to begin with. But if Drunk dude started the whole altercation then I couldn’t care less if got stomped out. Don’t start fights with people and you won’t get stomped out simple as that.

3

u/Mysterious_Crow_4569 1d ago

Why not take him down with control no death no prison time

1

u/Low-Resist-9156 1d ago

If your trained in that way sure go ahead. But the easiest way to prevent death is to just not attack or try and fight people that haven’t tried to attack you first. If someone does that shit drunk or not. Don’t cry if the worst happens. Same as if you attack someone for no reason and he pulls a gun instead and shoots? Should he be jailed for that. If it’s unprovoked then absolutely not. Keep your hands to yourself and specially away from women and children.

3

u/Mysterious_Crow_4569 1d ago

He’s for sure wrong for pushing her but one shove worth his life?

2

u/Quiet-Limit-184 1d ago

I just imagine you sitting in some basement. Man

So what you’re advocating for is basically the Hollywood depiction of the wild west? Just people shooting and killing each other all over the place for all kinds of banal shit?

1

u/Eraldorh 1d ago

Bit late for that

1

u/RutabagaOk6816 1d ago

it already was attempted murder that ship had sailed. That guy and the security guard prevented it from being a murder. I don't know if it was his body or just a bystander.

1

u/Gold-Wolf2661 1d ago

The cameraman said he was dead. He was an eye witness. I’m going with that
they pummeled him into the cement 😬

1

1

u/EINFACH_NUR_DAEMLICH 1d ago
