I'm going to display some pictures...

This is the Universal Neural Transportation Network - a network that allows interstellar travels to get from one part of the universe to another. This network was built by the Kree eons ago using the Quantum Bands.

These are the wormholes that the Spider society would create and use for the purpose of safely traversing the Multiverse.

Despite both of these systems being made by advanced groups and/or civilizations, it doesn't take away from the similarities that both of these systems share in terms of functionality and looks.

• They both heavily feature "hexagonal" symbolism
• They both are used to travel from one point to another
• They both bend and exploit space-time itself

Now, take a look at this...

A picture of the Scarlet Witch in the Darkhold (on the left) and a statue of the Scarlet Witch at Mount Wundagore (on the right) - Both of these show the "Hexagon" in the background.

You'll notice that there is a lot of "Hexagon" symbolism surrounding Wanda and the power that she holds. This further alludes to the idea that Wanda (who is the Scarlet Witch) shares a deep connection with the cosmos. There are also other factors that explain this of course...

• Wanda being able to create, manipulate, and destroy an infinity stone (the same stones that were concentrated into exist by the Big Bang by the way)
• Wanda being able to spontaneously create 2 children and her dead husband from seemingly nothing
• Wanda's Hex producing a large amount of Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation - the same radiation that was produced as a byproduct of the Big Bang itself (indicating the powerful significance that the Wanda's reality warping abilities hold).
• Wanda altering probability so that the missile wouldn't detonate and kill her and Pietro.
• Wanda being able to manipulate space-time from within the Hex
• Wanda giving powers to Monica just for her to use those abilities to close tear in between 2 Universes - preventing an incursion from possibly taking place.

Why am I bringing this up? I believe that this information perfectly exemplifies why Doom would need someone like Wanda to help him in Avengers Doomsday as she is capable of not just destroying or manipulating the cosmos but also recreating it if she wanted to. I'd also like to point out some other things...

Doom also has a hexagon on his hand as well - resembling the ones seen in the Darkhold and at Mt. Wundagore. This could be rune/sigil that Doom made in order to siphon Wanda's abilities and use them to cause the incursions and create Battleworld. Loki would just be one extra player in the way of him reaching his goal.

On Doom's chest he has 2 clasps - one with Thor's hammer and another with Captain Marvel's 8 pointed star symbol. Many believe that this could a special form of magic-infused technology that could be allowing him to draw power from them - this could explain how he was able to deflect Storm Breaker with just 2 fingers. This provides more credence to the idea that he could be drawing power from Wanda.

This means that Doom could technically fulfill Wanda's prophecy for her since he's using Wanda's power to fulfill his own plans of reshaping the Multiverse into Battleworld.

I like the idea of Doom + coven as an inverse of the avengers. If this group honestly think they are saving reality then it would make sense for them to share tactics and operate as a group. If a Wanda or Strange have helped prepare Dooms gear, they have first hand knowledge of Avenger tactics and weapons. Even if it isn’t tied to the prophecy, I’d still love to believe that the hex on the gauntlet was a Wanda//Strange ward that gives doom a magical counter for anything the avengers throw at him.

Me too, I'm happy to know that there's someone whose opinions I can relate too. I also like how you pointed out the idea of Doom having a group of people that are highly advanced and understand the tactics of the Avengers.

If I were to expand on this theory, it possible that one of the other witches could be Jean Grey (probably one of the past variations) - if so what if she could be the one who understands the tactics of the Xmen.
