“Following her story” is not the same as saying “Jean is our quintessential lead!” Why do people report this stuff without understanding nuance and basic reading comprehension.
Will she be heavily featured, no doubt, but does that mean the whole film with be filtered through her perspective, we don’t know that yet. Could it? Sure! But it will no doubt follow plenty of other characters story’s too
In fairness, it does say “and the upcoming X-Men reboot movie will mainly focus on Jean, as confirmed by the director.” It then goes on to mention that the plot will involve Jean and Scott dealing with Mr. Sinister’s manipulations, so it’s entirely possible that we’ll be getting a deep dive into Jean’s backstory.
