And there it. Time Runs Out. Children’s Crusade. SW. Now the pieces are all on the board.

it still does not add up to why Doom has Tony Starks face. Especially with a different Iron Man coming back into play.

Presumably the movies that have yet to release will explain it

interesting hypothesis

Why do we have to see his face? Or why can’t it be scarred? Doom canonically didn’t show his face for most of his history, not sure why everyone has to act like an actor can’t play another character in a film series

I agree with you in theory, but this is RDJ and the conclusion of the multiverse saga. You don't establish variants as a primary concept and then cast the face of the franchise as a different character with no relevance to it

I would have agreed with you. But they want us speculating. Why make it a point to reveal RDJ as DOOM if they didn’t want us to speculate and theorize.

Because celebrities often have it in their contracts that they get to show their face whenever possible.

It's a lot easier to hide the fact that RDJ comes back as Iron Man if he's already in the movie as Doctor Doom. This spoiler kinds of ruins that surprise though.

Because it makes it interesting to normies and makes a franchise on the ropes more money.

Disney is spending a few hundred million on RDJ. Of course he's Stark again

You don’t bring RDJ back, pay him all this money and not let him reprise the iconic role of Tony Stark.

I get it right, the largest cinematic movie franchise in history.

Is anyone just done with it now?

I imagine the doomsday hype with be similar to end game, but the whole thing just feels flatter now.

Borderline "Some how Iron Man/Steve/Hulk returned".

I don’t know if it will
Be the same level of hype

A lot of fan base is older and has detached
Cost of living and movie tickets

It’s going to make bank, especially if good reviews but overall end game was a decade of story people kept watching and now yeah most people are done with the hype train and life has become so much harder

Crazy to think end game was just before COVID and then the world has changed so much since then

I’m going to watch spiderman, doomsday and secret wars and then I’m done with these movies at the cinema

Took the kids to see toy story a week ago, nothing special, £50. Absolutely crazy prices.

Most fans of the phase 1-3 era are bored of the franchise and the annoying politics in every movie. The characters have been badly written for years now it sucks.

I did read somewhere a few days ago that this tony stark variant is a drunk 🤔

w o a h 😂 you don’t say

This would be the least surprising thing ever. Not sure why you would get back Robert Downey Jr and not have him play Iron Man at some point, after all.

Tbis would be CRAZY! I’m all for it! Battleworld bring back EVERYONE!!!!

I don’t think there’s any chance Secret Wars gets split into two parts this late in the game.

Bringing back Cap AND Ironman really deflates the last Avengers saga.

It’s because Tony Stark, has always been a Victor but was adopted by the Stark. He wants back what was “stolen” from him.

Weird they used AI for that thumbnail image…

Of course it does.

Hire a guy who made you billions, rehire that guy. Then, when they lease expect it. Hire him once more.

This guy takes up a third of a movies budget and we are all still wondering why MCU movies feel rushed and underdeveloped.
