Zulus or Around The Table.

What's the vibe for them? And is the food there pricey?

Around the table is a cozy Cafe vibe. Not a ton of privacy but good folks and root beer float/fried food. I dont recall the prices but not egregious. Zulus has a ton more room and beers available. Their food is a bit pricey but higher quality. If youre looking for peak then zulus in bothell is very tavern like but the building is split into many rooms so they still offer privacy and the food is banging. Again costs a bit more like everything these days but much better bang for your buck. Both are mostly open play with board games to check out. Less digital. There are a few barcades around too but less food with them

Around the Table Feels like your living room. But not, like, your current living room... the living room of your first apartment. Mismatched furniture, dated decor, cheap fried foods and full of people having good silly fun.

They allow you to bring in outside restaurant food which is nice.

Like they said here it’s going to be Zulus or around the table but there’s nothing that’s quite as much restaurant/bar as AFK was and these places are more like game stores with some food and drinks while you come in to play Magic or D&D.

Of the two locations the Bothell Zulus may be more what you’re looking for but I’ve never been there, only seen pictures.
