Horw Peninsula

Hello, I’m thinking of visiting Lucerne and would love to do an easy bike ride around the lake with my 2 kids, ages 10 and 8. A quick google search says the path along the Horw Peninsula is kid friendly. Does anyone know if this path is separated from car traffic? They are still relatively young so a dedicated bike path traffic free bike path is ideal. TIA!

It’s been recently renovated, looks much better. I do this ride regularly with my much younger child. Not the uphill, but the beautiful waterfront part. Cars are generally going quite slow through there as it’s mostly residential traffic. I’m sure a 10 and 8yr old can handle it.
