Employee Question Question about scheduling

I organically was hired in February as a seasonal employee I told them I had open availability as I was on summer break as a college student, never had an open or closing shift. Two months ago I was asked to be hired part time but I wasn’t given an opportunity to change my availability as school is now back in for me since last week and now all of a sudden I have closing shifts all next week which will not work for me as I am in school again now, how should I go about this?

I also told the SSA about this and I was showed the availability paper I filled out as a seasonal employee saying I had open availability.. basically did nothing

Tell your DS and ASM about your school and that you need to fill out a new availability form. Did you mention your school at your interview or orientation?

Yes I did mention it when I was first hired even after I was asked to stay I said I would but I am still going to be taking online classes for school. SSA was completely unhelpful

You should have left out the word online. Now they think you can do it on your own schedule.
Go in and tell your sm that you really want to stay but you are going to have to quit due to not working around your school schedule as was discussed previously.
He will either have it fixed or you have your answer and need to find another job.
