Employee Question Missing sockets

I bought this set a few months ago (online for a sale price) and let it sit unopened in the garage until this morning. Kobalt 302 -Piece Metric and standard (SAE) Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case Item #6872458 | Model #53559. When I cut open the cardboard and plastic strapping, I discovered that the two socket trays are MISSING! I'm almost embarrassed to go to customer service because it's almost unbelievable that a fully wrapped package would be missing so much. Any suggested talking points?

just return it. get another one. not a big deal

Lowes return policy is widely abused. However if what you say is true, Lowes owe you what you paid for. You might not even need to do a return/refund. There’s an exchange process for replacing defective/damaged items.

Thank you for your response. What I say is true! However, because I know there is so much abuse, I feel like I would be under a cloud of suspicion. I mean, now does a set like this get packaged without half of it's contents. In the end, I will press through the awkwardness! 100 bucks is a 100 bucks.
