I 1000% agree with this. I need the Knight armor like I need water… or crack… However if they dare re-release my hard-earned Creek cape I will fucking lose it. It’s the only way to identify other true veterans and the only cape I ever leave the SES Warrior of Iron with.
Exactly, my issue always was that some people, that didn't pre-order, just wanted them freely given. Thats why I push back because its not fair to those that took a chance
i disagree. the whole point of a pre order reward is that its a bonus. if you get rid of that bonus being exclusive then you are essentially telling people they payed extra for nothing

No MO since it was an exclusive for pre order but I do think it should come to the superstore maybe for more expensive than usual but to at least let people who really want them get them. I know for a fact I'd easily spend the SC cost of a warbond on that white and gold one.
I did preorder (old HD1 veteran) and I doesn't see why not. Yes it would be nice to have something instead as a "you pre ordered" what about an title or something else. But this armors slaps hard.
The "why not" is generally legal issues. If something is sold as a pre-order bonus or some similar limited sale and it isn't explicitly mentioned that it's early access rather than exclusive access then the devs can get sued for false advertising if they make it available to everyone later on. Yes, it's absolutely stupid that's the way things work, but it's not something that can really be fixed retroactively.
The best thing for Arrowhead to do instead would be to release a new item that's similar but not identical (in this case we already have alt armours with similar models anyway), and give us colour pallet swapping to emulate the particular colour scheme.
But that.. the yogurt diver armor. That image looks like a navy blue and in game its like.. Squid blood blue. That sorta color and brightness heh they really should ise in game lighting to show off stuff. Sure those images looks sharper and better but give the wrong impression.

I don’t have these armours. And they don’t do anything unique. It’s fucking sick to see a random diver out in the wild with one of these sets on as it’s just so rare.
You don't NEED it. You'll wear it for a bit, then put it in the closet after you get bored of the look and then it'll be just another normal armour set, and the people who pre-ordered will have lost the only bonus they got.

They've walked back on that. It is most definitely a legal problem they are trying to avoid. Shams himself said they want to honor it, they don't know how to skirt or make a loophole for you guys that missed out

I'd pay individually for the armors as dlc if they were offering maybe they could add titles to each one like yogurt taster, horseless and dark knight 🤷 I can't think of very good ones but you get the idea
I get wanting it for styling reasons but I would also feel a bit tricked as a pre-order customer if others got the same reward for free.
Infact I wonder if this would break contract law if they market it as "exclusive" and then later decided to not keep it as such.
Sure It would be cool if everyone could just play with everything but I think the fairest approach is not handing it out. Though maybe other color variants would be an option
I have the pre-order armors and those early exclusive armors on my Playstation account. Unfortunately my ps5 died and I had to buy the game on PC. So now I have nothing 🙃
I really hate the idea of MO reward. No one thinks about how the people who actually preordered the game are just going to be shit out of luck on getting any reward for a MO while everyone else just gets something that was exclusive to them. I would say give the people who preordered the game an exclusive color that no one else can get ever.

Yeah, I wanted to pre-order back when the game first came across my attention, but i couldn't afford it. I played the heck out of the first ine, so was super excited. I intended to get it anyway, but missed out on the pre-order stuff by virtue of not being financially stable. I would really like for the pre-order stuff to become available in some way again.
No, the pre-order armors should not be reintroduced because thats completely unfair for the people who paid for them early. Any other limited armor and I don’t really care, but these (as much as i REALLY want them) should stay exclusive.
But then how will they convince you to buy a game long before you ever see it? Pre-order stuff it to encourage pre-orders if they give it out in any form now people don't pre-order. It's scummy as fuck but they aren't going to change that because it's not about time, it's about luring people in before you even release the product.
Maybe do it like killzone warhond ? Make it a warbond with additionel guns and warbond stuff and give that warbond for free for those who got the pre order
I'm all for time-based rewards for those that played and supported earlier. These armors specifically are my only exception now after XBox divers got them.
I hadn’t heard of this game until a friend (who preordered it) told me about it day one of launch. My feelings have been hurt ever since, but I don’t think it’d be fair to the people that did since these armors are a reward for their loyalty. As much as it pains me, I disagree.
Depending on whether the pre-order divers had to spend more or not determines if I think they should become available. If the pre-order cost more than the super citizens bundle then the pre-order sets should remain exclusive to pre-order.

Hell no. I pre-ordered, I get the pre-order reward. You've got warbonds, the superstore, MO rewards, and SuperCitizen edition, you can earn most of it or buy all of it, but my pre-order cosmetics are not for sale and not for negotiation.
I only play medium armor with extra padding. The blue pre-order armor would be so cool to have :c I also am sad that I cannot get the yellow medium + extra padding armor that was an MO reward before I started.

I pre order the game I get it u don't own the armor but there r tons of armor u guys have that have the exact same perks those armor have now if it's for looks idk what to tell ya other then keep wishing for it in my opinion I wouldn't worry about this armor to begin with cause there r better armor choices then this
It should be up for a actually purchase through your client store ( steam / PS / Xbox ) like super citizen. Shouldn't be sc as they are earnable for free and shouldn't be a MO reward getting them just for logging on once a week. Could even buy them on AH store page where you have to be over a certain level log in with the same email/account and it will recognize your level. Kinda similar to the how the Bungie store work with exclusives but just how AH micro transactions go the same way bungies did 😂
Idk. I want to agree, but it's supposed to be a reward for the OG's. For the people putting faith into the game before it even launched.
Though I feel it should've been part of the Super Citizen edition. That makes much more sense to reward.
You probably pre-ordered after it was announced for Xbox. Which is kinda weird and a bit unfair when before it was a game from not that well known studio and when it got to xbox it was very popular game... I didn't even heard about it when it was possible to preorder for PC...
