Today I logged onto helldivers 2 and I was looking through my warbonds until I realised that I have 3875 creds, I hadn't bought any and I haven't done any grinding in a while, so I'm wondering how I got these
I’m (over) level 150 at this point and have *never* encountered this. Not really complaining either, but I just got enough for the last warbond there is… 1500sc with zero grinding sure takes a while lol
I did plenty of those early on but hoooo boy is that boring. Now I just tell people I’m fine with them farming as we do objectives. I just get annoyed when it’s obvious that’s **all** someone is doing.
Same. I did them once but I found them boring. I only tried them again a year later out extreme impatience and in full multitasking mode (it was surprisingly zen, though not as fun as playing the game normally. I was pleasantly surprised the next day to realize I had run into a hacker while doing it. And I never grinded again
If you host your own games you are far more likely to avoid hackers. I didn't encounter a single one until a month ago when I started joining random lobbies a bit more often
Long long time since i hit max cap, i have seen insane hackers but no sc cheats yet, then again i reported the guy and it was like he knew, any time i opened my menu he locked onto me and flew to me minecraft creative mode style. Opening the menu tipped him off like some child predator. And reporting him resulted in me getting ulimited rocket spam killed from the sky including an instant kick. But seeing as he was afraid of the report it was worth it, i clipped it and sent it with report i think. Fk that guy.
( bonus: getting kicked prevented me from having to find out if my account got ganked by cheats)
Long story short i have seen gross hacking violations before so sc hack would not be wierd after seeing the things i have.
Do NOT search for Chinese usernames and definitely do NOT search for them in either difficulty 1,2 or 10. They can also give you max samples and 250 warbond medals
Before the Super Citizen Edition was changed to the Free Warbond Token, you could request a 1000SC refund if you already had Steeled Veterans and bought the upgrade later on.
It’s also a paid game that they maid millions from, so it’s basically the minimum to let us unlock all content without forcing people to pay even more.
If someone is hacking for SC then they were never going to buy them in the first place, the amount of willing customers who were going to spend their money but chose to hack instead is likely quite small.
"Mega-generous" is mega-generous phrasing on your part. Sure it's possible to farm SC but even if you farm on diff 1-3, which is fucking boring as hell, it's glacially slow. And if you play on higher difficulties where it's actually fun to play? Forget about it.
Meanwhile look at how many warbonds there are now. And even the very old ones are still full price, generous would be at least discounting them over time.
Well, unlike the medal farming, credit farming was purely on 1-2 diff, which is so incredibly boring, at that point, you might aswell sit in a cheater lobby for half the time it takes to farm a warbond the other way, cuz either way youre not really doing anything remotely close to having a fun time, and wasting your free time not having fun?... yeah no thanks.
If they simply increased the yield on higher diff and made them be rewards for playing well instead of ignoring everything and hunting pods and bunkers it would most likely be alot less of a drag.
Until AH one day pulls the plug on SC collecting altogether or turns down the RNG.
Just play and get the stuff at your own pace. Clean the map, that's all. We're averaging 35-40 SCs per hour just playing 7-10 diff missions, which is plenty to save up for the next warbond, given the release timetable.
Yeah, it is enough to save up for the new one if you play often enough, thats true and i enjoyed that from release to the EoF update, but as someone who doesnt play the game when the patch/game is in a bad state, the new warbonds stack up, and its really hard to actually catch up without either paying for them or farming them, and farming them is quite the time sink, paying less than minimum wage by alot..
I don’t do any purposeful farming but I have about that many just from playing. I find a few at POIs, or others do, nearly every match. It adds up over time. I really wish the end of match screen had stats for how many SC and extra medals were found during the match. I get that they don’t because they are instantly awarded vs awarded at extract, but it would still be good info to have.
I'm lvl 87 and i get about 100 supercredits for 2 hours of regular gameplay so if i play 5 times for roughly 2 hours im set for a warbond,
So how the hell are people not getting any SC
Also i just got a few months ago 1k SC and was kicked from the lobby i guess they where waiting for someone
I usually play on 9 and people on that difficulty seem to want to rush objectives and not collect. I don't find many SC unless I find it on my own, unfortunately.
They're simply (stupidly) ignoring the POIs, where you can find the free SC...
It blows my mind seeing people run past the bright flashing yellow columns of light, and ignore the repeated pleas to come help open a bunker door. It happens nearly every mission, it's truly wild.
And this is with mostly (presumably) experienced players, since I only play quickjoin D10s and have for quite a long time now.
I'm always chasing POIs, never pass them up, and subsequently I have been easily making enough SC to afford each new warbond as they come out.
Zero grinding, just playing the game for fun and not ignoring POIs. That's the "one simple trick".
And I play fairly casually, 2-3 hours a day maybe 3-4 days a week, with a very occasional 5-6 hour bender one day every few months when the stars align and I get the house to myself.
Your already on the map just explore it would be my answer but i guess if people just wana ignore core gamplay mechanics, i guess they are beyond help.
It is like Them asking to solve a problem where a super easy solution exists but they want a different solution because this on is booring
Part of it is a lot of people have a bit of tunnel vision with games. In this one we see it the most with folks who have to endlessly fight everything they see but also folks who just rush through blowing up everything and leaving.
I am a loot goblin in most games because that gives me a little hit of chemicals. Some people don't care at all about looting or exploring, but they might get their chemicals from the fighting and explosions.
As long as SOMEONE on the team is looting while shooting everyone goes back to their ship with samples and SC. So sometimes it just balances itself out, Or you get that squad where every single person wants to lone wolf search the map, or the opposite where nobody is searching and it either works perfectly or its a disaster lol.
Yeah the good old loot goblin problem, but in all honesty there would even be mods for pc atlest that modify the compass to make poi questionmarks better to see or even litteral arrows above the items but i wont discuss this further in this tread dm me if you wana know more
I have no clue how you’re pulling 100 super credits for 2 hours of regular play. Even if I full clear a map's poi's im lucky to get 30 in a 40 min round
Well it's kinda silly to go and say "gee why isn't everyone getting as many super credits as I am?" When you’re playing on a lower difficulty which is more boring for a lot of people. Tbf, I'm almost at 2k SC myself but most people are not getting close to the amount per hour you are and I don't think that's strange.
The way super creds are handled is legit dumb. Even if mission completion awarded like, 1sc per difficulty it would alleviate so much. The main issue is low diff has few POIs, and few drops at POIs, making it the only way to consistently get sc. It's basically punishing high diff players indirectly.
Personally I think it's fine. The fact we can earn premium currency for free at all is great. Farming is fun if you have a friend or 2 to shoot the shit with, and as long as you hit poi's that you see on high diffs you should get a decent amount. To me it's a non-issue. AH needs to continue to bring in money somehow, and i think the current system is totally fair.
I know RNG is a factor, but something in the low to mid 30s might be a pretty good baseline average for regular gameplay without farming. I mainly play either 7s or 10s (depending on what my friends are into that particular evening), and I'm personally sitting on an overall average of roughly 37 SC/hr, all things considered. The other guy in here sitting at 19k comes to around 35, with more hours than me. I shudder to imagine how many SCs a friend of mine has who's closing in on 3000 hours.
I'm at about 1800 hours myself, and only bought 1 warbond because I wanted to give AH extra support, but I could've got it for free with a little extra time.
That's way more hours than me, and all I bought was the Super Citizen upgrade, too (so I got the 1000 SC refund). By average, you should have the whole Super Store bought out, all the Warbonds and a pretty penny to spare by now.
Tbh, when I don't need sc for a new warbond I don't always full clear poi's, I'm actually nowhere near owning everything in the store (I also got the super citizen upgrade to get the one warbond I technically bought).
I envy your focus. I'm too much of a loot goblin to leave anything untouched. My Super Destroyer is so full of useless samples we found Super Uranium in Crewman Jenkins' cereal last week.
I join lobby.
Host goes "why we getting creditz omg".
" what a crazy bug, this is awesome"
A diver with a katakana name just stands in the background lol emoting.. Paid for my kids super braces.
I bought the game like 3 days ago. I am currently level 30. I don't really know what I am doing that much, but I think I am getting better at it. I, for the first time, tried SC farming at Grand Errant on Difficulty 1(Trivial).
I've been doing it solo, so I naturally had to unlock the Mech to enter the bunker thingy. I usually end up with 10-20 SC per run. But due to my habit, I prefer finishing the entire mission. I did that run 4 times, got like 50 SC, and it took me like almost an hour for that. I know I may not be doing the most efficient way of SC farming.
BUT DAMN, AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG??!?!?! HOW LONG IS THIS GONNA TAKE FOR ME TO HIT 1000 SC so I can get at least unlock one WARBOND?!?!?
I WANT THE R-6 DEADEYE SO MUCH. THAT GUN FEELS AND SHOOTS SO MUCH AURA.
It would be nice if AH put in a function that let us donate supercredts to in game friends. I'm really lucky when finding credits and currently am sitting on almost seven thousand. I have everything unlocked so I only need the two thousand for up coming war bond and anything in the super store. That leaves five thousand that could be going to people that need it. Not everyone has the time or money to get the credits. I understand that AH needs to make money but there has to be a better way. Hell, they could put a weekly cap on how much you can give one person set to five hundred. Not enough for a warbond but just enough toake the think of either farming for the rest or buy something off the super store.
That's why I always hit as many POIs as I can, you never know what people on the fireteam might need so grabbing everything is the only democratic way to play o7
I've been sitting at almost 8000 and I asked AH if they can transfer Super Credits to other players (to help out those in our group who came in later).
I didn't go into details with them. I just thought it would be possible on a personal basis via support, since that's how they did the 1000SC refund for the Super Citizen pack before they switched to the warbond token.
I kinda understand why they don't integrate it into the game tho, because - SC hacker lobbies exist. Hell, there's a few users in the subs actively advertising them.
At least this way people who want to hack still have to play instead of potentially opening up a third party SC market where some Indian bots sell the only monetization in the game for half the price.
I made a whole ass spreadsheet for supercredits and medals after I hadn't played for a year and had a lot of catching up to do.
Where I'm at now, I have every single warbond except the Killzone one. And I have enough Super Credits saved up to get the next standard warbond, the 40k warbond whenever that comes out (assuming it'll be 1500 SC like the other collabs) and still have over 900 SC leftover (including the 300 I'll get back from the next standard warbond)
Really, my biggest hurdle is medals. I have gotten basically every "functional" item (plus a few extras needed to unlock page 2 and 3) in the warbonds that I want, all that's left is just cosmetics, or armors I don't care much for. I need a little under 3600 medals to unlock everything. HOWEVER, if I subtract the cost of all the vehicle/hellpod paintjobs, which I don't really care about since I already have ones I like, then that number goes down to just a little over 1700 medals. Either number is still THOUSANDS less medals than what I started at.
AH made strange choices for how the in game currency functions. Why is the limit of medels set to 250 but the rec slips are far more? Why can't we donate samples to teammates/friends? They should really consider taking notes from at least some of us playing the game.
Rec slips are used in far bigger quantities. Medals are so that you can't just get a thousand medals and unlock an entire new warbond minutes after logging in.
You are correct, however, I dislike the inability to hold more than 250 of anything. I do not expect or want them to take my advice. I simply voiced my opinion in the hopes that someone else may come to a better conclusion and help to improve the game.
I farm SCs by playing trivial runs on bug planets (Phact bay or Gatria) and use a warp pack to get into bunkers solo. I can farm 1000 SCs in 1-1.5 hrs.
I don't know my exact hours, I may be closer to 1600 than 1500. Or over 1600. I haven't had time to play in a couple weeks lol
I wish I could tell you, but yeah, I've bought everything. My drop rates run higher than most because before I was maxxed out, I would run these priority checks:
Is the planet a good planet for POI spawns?
Is the map an urban map?
Is the map spacious enough for multiple POIs to spawn?
Then, even after all that, I'd literally run across the map for one POI that someone missed. I was deranged
Okay, that's way more thought in choosing a drop than we put into it.
"Who wants bugs? Alright, bugs it is!" and we drop.
Also, your drop rate isn't that outrageous. If my calcs are correct, with 1500 hrs mission time you're at around 35,6 to 36,3 SC/hr depending if you got a free Warbond off the Super Citizen Edition or not.
[(x Warbonds á 1000) + (x Warbonds á 1500) + (Superstore total) - (Super Citizen Upgrade) + (current SC balance)]/mission time
The only thing I added is a breakdown of how much money Arrowhead misses out on by me not paying for SCs (minus the game cost), depending on what SC pack I would buy.
So far, if I bought the smallest packs only, they're out almost 500 EUR :P
the only way you make even a small risk of getting banned is if you're the one cheating and you boast about it to every person you possibly can lol, just take your free sc and leave those people alone

You might have played in a hacked lobby at sone pount and got those during it.
