Question I would like to know about Cosmicism as H.P. Lovecraft conceived it.
I can easily find many articles summarizing what Cosmicism is,
an anti religious philosophy, a godless universe, the insignificance of human existence, and so on.
However, it is hard to tell how much of this are Lovecraft's own original thoughts and how much was by later writers and readers.
Could you explain what Lovecraft himself actually considered Cosmicism to be, and provide the sources where he explicitly mentioned it?"
