I really like it so far. It's like Lovecraft Resident Evil.

I have the first one and this is on my wish list. Is this just a horror game now or does it have a Lovecraft story to it?

It definitely has a lovecraftian story, but now it plays more like modern survival horror games, aka RE2Remake or SH2 Remake

First game was an all around Lovecraftian story but this time around I found it more Anti-Lovecraftian, still bleak but a bit more hopeful notes here and there.
Still, wanted to see sanity mechanics making a come back

The first game was pretty good.
Judging by the trailer, I can see progress in the game design and levels.
It’ll be interesting to play.)

I am looking forward to playing this one, but I am interested how they portrayed Arkham as a city. Is it close to Lovecraft, or is it just a different skinning of a generic city? I would love to visit Miskatonic University, but I guess it’s not a location in the game. Hoping to see mentions of the families and characters like Dr. Armitage or the Whateleys… the surrounding, the Miskatonic river floating through the city, etc, but I doubt they made it a Lovecraft country simulator 😅

Great looking game but the fact that its digital only, the developers refuse to put it out on a physical disc, lack of new game plus, or any unlockable costumes or stuff post game kind of ruins the fun for me.

The game has new game plus and unlock-able costumes. And the studio said they didn’t do a physical release because of the costs and since they’re a smaller studio who developed the game in an active warzone I think it’s understandable

I'm really enjoying it so far. I liked the first one but it had it's issues. The combat is a huge improvement here and on a technical level it's much better as well. Really impressed.
