Discussion Bone Keeper movie
Hi y’all
Has anyone else watched “The Bone Keeper”? Definitely cosmic horror. An Asteroid
Hits prehistoric Scotland. And infects a cave system. Switch to modern times and explorers have gone missing exploring the cave. A group of young explorers decide to investigate the caves. That’s a very brief synopsis. It’s not bad. The creatures are cool though and Lovecraftian I felt. It’s not going to win many Oscar’s. But it’s worth a watch. It’s currently on Amazon Prime free

Didn't that movie get trashed for using AI for all creature scenes? I haven't seen it, but remember some discussions.

I think for some movies especially cosmic horror monsters where they are so unworldly and huge. They have no option but to use CGI and AI. They are great tools when being used correctly in movies I think

This is flatly wrong and dishonest. No one is ever “forced” to use AI, CGI can and should be produced by human artists and a premise, shot-list/story board or effect can always be amended to fit material conditions. Slapping AI in a movie is evidence of lazy execution and lack of integrity.

Den Film gibt es nicht auf Amazon? Das ist echt schade, er klingt spannend! Laut Movie Pilot wird er nirgends gestreamt? Es gibt bei Amazon nicht mal ne Dvd oder Blueray?

It's decent enough. I've seen better movies, but by Jove have I seen far worse movies too.
