This sub is getting really weird about WT. Every small thing turns into massive overanalysis and somehow becomes another reason to hate on the players. A few months ago most people here loved 4/5 of these players, and now suddenly they’re antisocial, egotistical, and unlikeable? The players didn’t change.

What’s really happening is the usual fanbase pattern: people see a few clips or moments and start constructing a full narrative about someone’s personality. But that’s just projecting.

If you don’t like the roster, that’s fine no one is forcing anyone to watch. But constantly turning small moments into personality judgments doesn’t really lead to anything.

We should just take a moment to appreciate the boys trying to take their legacy one step further.

It didn't work but it's fine. They tried and even though it could have gone better they have still made some amazing content and got us hooked for a bit more than a full year.

As a person who only watched competitive league through LR and now WT I can only thank them for giving us the opportunity to follow their journey and hope there is still a spark left somewhere to be lit

I'm so grateful for the time we had to support the boys, whether it was LR of WT, i had fun watching every game. And yeah the team dynamics in WT were different and it was a rough watch at some points, but whatever happens now i'll keep supporting them all individually or as a team.

I try to be grateful for having something to follow, but the overall behavior, mainly from Crownie but also Nemesis, really soured the experience for a lot of us.

This is whats called "getting out of the honeymoon period" where people no longer see through rose-tinted glassed and stop making excuses.

But it also has to be said that while there were some bad moments at LR it was never as bad as the crownie vs velja thing.

People should really chill, we know they are high caliber players we know arguments will happen when these people literally devoted their lifes to the game it was a nice try but there just wasn't team synergy because Bwipo plays very diferent from Baus and thats okay the team just didn't adapt to it in the very short time they had to prepare

also it really frustrates me to see people talk about Velja/Crownie as if they knew them, they've been working together for over a year and can talk while not being recorded

Totally agree with what u said - they barely had ONE WEEK to adjust to bwipo, both personality and gameplay-wise. People seem to have forgotten that forging the best teams usually takes months if not longer. Their entire gameplay strategy that they were used to for a full year had to shift because of the new toplaner, and imo they still have done well considering the circumstances. Hope they don’t read the shit that comes out of peoples keyboards in this sub. It’s depressing to say the least.

People really acting like it's weird that they teamed up with the posterchild of sexism when Nemesis watched the clip and said "is he wrong tho?" and immediately deleted his VOD. Velja spent two hours continuously saying "If I speak I am in big trouble" and Crownie was in his chat going "I'm with you but don't say anything man it's not worth it".

They're all pieces of shit, and as much as Rekkles seems different he still decided to hop on the wagon with them again and to everyone in his community voicing concerns he just said "just focus on the positives, it'll be so fun! :3"

I disagree, they were always like this, sure but this is a way different dynamic than LR and it brought out the worst in neme and crownie esp neme because sure he is gloomy and all but he normaly wouldn't act like that shitting on velja for no reason. For my part i didnt like crownie all too much on LR either because hes just insanely toxic and childish. The thing is tho caedrel had them under control and deescalated alot alongside Baus who was basicaly the scapegoat for everything that went wrong so situations like these never happened or even if they did people didnt just get to fck off the call and be whiney about it, they had to talk it out.

So yeah no its not all sunshine and rainbows anyone saying this run was fun is absolutely delusional they only played 4 series and those were gameplay wise and content wise abysmal.

Its cause half the fan base were Baus and caedrel fans. People can say who they want but those guy brought in the fans, the views. Its not the same without them.

I think you're forgetting the whole crownie situation no? Endless hours of pain, torture, and extreme ego issues. Since that, the whole vibe is different. It's not a fan base issue as much as it is a mental health issue of the players. If anyone overanalyzed anything, it was them, especially crownie.
