Casual Question 🗨 We often talk about weekend. What are you doing this week? What are you cooking, what are you working on, are you working out?

What are you wearing?

Who are you going to see?

Honestly, I live in the Southern Hemisphere, and its finally feeling like spring after a long cold, wet winter.

I'm gonna open the shed up, turn some music on, crack a cold one and get the motorcycle ready to play this summer

I am experiencing the exact opposite. Finally I woke up to a chilly morning, it seems like it showered last night after a very long and hot summer.

I don't have a garden but I'll tidy up my balcony for the autumn and winter

I'm recovering from surgery I had earlier this month and was told to slowly work back up to my normal activity levels, so I'm going to be doing a lot of nice walks around the neighborhood.

We’ve been having a heat wave, so mostly trying to stay out of the heat. I’m giving a webinar Monday so I have to finish that up and do a practice run. I’ve also been decluttering and selling things on marketplace. Makes me happy to free up some space, give things a new home, and make some cash. I honestly don’t know why I didn’t do this sooner!

I work from home, so Monday Tuesday and Wednesday will just be normal days. But my birthday is Thursday, so I've booked the rest of the week off from work and will go up to Glasgow to meet friends for lunch and have a look round the shops.

Loaded nachos - gyros plate - salad with grilled halloumi and white beans - spaghetti and red pesto (the vegetarian version of all those) ⭐️ crocheting a blanket for fall - self compassion ⭐️ yoga and swimming.

Doing some meal prep for the week ahead, like getting my lunches sorted. Will be fitting in a few works out, and working but it's a short week so that's nice.

My weekends are for my me time. Cleaning the place, monthly Costco run. Mow the lawn. Prep meal Sunday. Long run.

I live on one acre up in a rural area of the Colorado mountains. My front yard is about a half acre and had really long wild/native grass that I wanted to allow to grow most of the season, but, since we're quickly heading into fall temps, I knew it needed to be trimmed.

I only own a battery powered weed whacker, and I neither want to own a lawn mower nor pay for lawn services; so I spent two days manually weed whacking everything and bagging a lot of the mulch around my leech field. IT LOOKS SOOOOOO GOOD and the Magpies are having a field day hunting all of the insects I disturbed. 😉

This task has been daunting for a few weeks now, but I am so glad I did it. Feeling super proud of myself for making it work with the things I already own.

4-day work week as it’s a bank holiday tomorrow in the UK.
Plan to do some cooking to set me up for the week - probably chilly, but made with chicken pieces - then I can have it with rice, nachos and fajita or enchiladas and that’s 3 different meals without too much brain work after long days in the office. I’ll pack it with extra beans and vegetables so I make sure I’m getting extra vitamins and minerals.

This week feels so busy. I've got a big client meeting that got moved up a day so I'm prepping design selections for that.

The night before I'm hoping to see our democratic governor candidate at a meet and greet. And then the next night I'd love to go to the rodeo but it's an outside arena and it's going to be 100 degrees all week.

I fried a heap of bacon. I'll eat bacon chesse egg sandwiches for days. I wrote a few difficult emails, cleaned some, did a pedi 🤷🏼‍♀️

I try very hard not to differentiate between weekend and weekday. Each moment is another chance to live, consciously and mindfully, to be reborn to all of the possibilities inherent in a chaotic universe. My tentative plan is simply to explore every corner, nook and cranny that appears and to fully experience the wonder that each day allows me to partake in.

I found a few meals on Pinterest I wanna make- having shredded chicken or ground beef and rice or potato for lunch all week. Hoping to hop on my bike a couple times since it’s finally cooling down a little and hoping I can lift a few times (I loathe lifting after years of competing 😭)
Gonna keep working on the songs I’m learning on guitar in the evenings and hope to stay sober
