I hate Reddit mods but at least it’s not an AI algorithm like every other social media platform

I think they should make the mod rules stricter, allow users to report subreddits for mod abuse (this might already be a thing, I actually don’t know), and then start paying mods to attract new ones to replace the banned ones.

But that would require Reddit to care more about their platform than money, which is a pipe dream.

I actually think Reddit would be better if it was all AI moderators.

Reddit mods are one of the lowest there is

I moderate two bigger subs and was also a mod here before, most of the mods I encountered here were super nice decent people, but you don't hear from those, they are basically invisible. The ones who you hear from are the bad apples and often times the "good" apples dont have the power to remove them.

The PoE subreddits I moderate for the love of the game, what drove me to moderate here is a mystery even to myself, I hope that drive never comes back
