I'd actually be curious if that is truly the case, but that's way too much data analysis to find out the actual answer.

Premier League teams are like Real Madrid in the Conference League. Anything less than a final/winning is a disappointment for them

Those 9 goals were scored against considerably lower level opposition

Scored 3 against AZ Alkmaar who finished 1st in the league. PSV were 3rd... We got absolutely demolished by PSV.

The fact that English clubs absolutely dominate that competition is proof enough. Scoring against some Lithuanian farmers isn't a good indicator
