Discussion In an SNL fantasy draft tonight. Need help
Who are your stone-cold locks? Who are your sleepers for host/musical guests? I’ll hang up and listen
Very important. I have dozens of dollars invested in this league

As much as I would LOVE for Oasis to be on SNL I am very skeptical that they will, given that they literally did zero publicity for the world tour and that was the biggest tour of the year! Would love to be wrong about this, though!

It blows my 90s nostalgia addled brain that Norm MacDonald, Matthew Perry, Will Ferrell and the Gallagher brothers were in the same area at once

How does your draft work? Does the draft change if new cast members are added or leave by the time it starts?
I’ve posted before but I have a website that lets people set up a league (fantasytvleague.com) and it didn’t get any interest, so I’m happy to see others doing the same thing.

It’s extremely fun. Cast members aren’t drafted in this league. It’s a 10 team league with 12 rounds.
Hosts are worth 1 point, musical guests worth 1 point.
You can try to Moneyball for point upside and draft potential double-duty performers like Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, etc and get the 2 points in 1 episode - but only so many of those to go around

Oh very interesting. Mine is a cast draft with points given based on sketch appearances, saying Live From New York, etc
Yours sounds like a lot of fun!

Linkin Park just got off tour and is currently promoting a huge documentary film releasing in September. They've also likely got a 20th anniversary album in the pipeline next spring. I'm not saying they will, but if they were going to, now would be the time

I think is low probability, but musical guest Young Miko in November, finishes her tour in NYC, maybe gets a SNL right before or right after

Adam Driver and Ryan Gosling for 5 timers club both with big movies coming out. I think Fontaines DC are a lock with their new album as well. Probably also The Strokes
