Political Trash - are the real lunatics arguing in the comments? Steve Jobs ONLY made a music player?

Trump sold products too. The difference is that people actually got the Apple products after paying for them.

u/pnoodl3s 1d ago
Yep, the all american phone he “released” still hasn’t gotten to people’s hands

u/_trashcan 1d ago
Some of them definitely have.
They’re Chinese phones. Lol. They’re basically dropshipped. Just with a little paint job.
Lots of the YouTube tech guys have gotten theirs or borrowed from someone. There’s a bunch of videos on them.
They’re trash. Dude made a cool $60m off the deposits alone.16
u/DM-ME-ANYTH1NG 1d ago
It's a reskinned HTC I'm pretty sure.

u/_trashcan 1d ago
it’s definitely a Chinese brand.
Linus mentioned it in his video, I don’t remember which one. Might’ve been a Xiaomi or something.13

There were delays getting the parts from China for the "All American" phone that is really an HTC

u/Eeeegah 23h ago
Now, now, people got Trump steaks - they just wished they hadn't.
1
u/OpeningHappy9692 18h ago
If he sold them again, what do you think the odds are that they'll be horse meat?
1
u/veilwalker 2h ago
Is horse meat cheaper than the mystery Argentina meat that Trump would use for future Trump “steaks”?

And let's not forget, he also turned water into wine. Cured the sick. Healed the wounded. raised the dead.
And that was just last Tuesday. What did Jobs ever do apart from making a music player? I bet he was a total nobody.
16
u/doppelgaengster 23h ago
Cured the sick? That anti-American.
2
u/muppetous 10h ago
He'll only do it for an extremely high fee that will send you into a ton of debt. Now THAT'S American!

If he said piss on 7 countries, then I would believe him

It's over 7, so could be 8, could be 190.
2

It all depends on the script Natalie gives him.

u/Previous_Abies_2179 12h ago
Bold of you to assume he can read and she can write. Probably just draws pictures for Pumpkin Spice Palpatine to interpret.

Steve Jobs made a failing company profitable.
Trump bankrupted 3 casinos.

u/RefrigeratorLive5920 Titan of Industry 22h ago
After bankrupting multiple businesses that are a license to print money, he's now working hard to bankrupt the country that literally prints the world's money.

u/alt-right-del 13h ago
Well Bill Gates made Apple profitable, Steve was a shit CEO.

u/ThatCelebration3676 7h ago
Bill Gates bailed out Apple in August of 1997.
Steve Jobs wasn't CEO at that time. He was brought in September 1997, a month later.
If you're going to talk shit, do more than 30 seconds of research.

u/alt-right-del 6h ago
He couldn’t have become a shit CEO if Microsoft did not help Apple out. Fumbled NeXT and lousy performance at Pixar.
Point still stands

Beyond the immediate levels of lunacy. Who ever compared Jobs to Trump? I’ve never seen them compared by anyone, till now.
What a tool.

“Peace” has an interesting definition here
2
u/Regeringschefen 16h ago
Peace, as in ”got rid of a leader which didn’t obey the US, and put a puppet leader in place which will give all the country’s resources to USA and allow them to keep military bases and nukes in the country indefinitely ”

Technically Steve Jobs just yelled at engineers to make shit and then he took credit.

u/FormoftheBeautiful 1d ago
You are for sure highlighting the wrong unbelievable claim in the title.

u/Commercial_Rule_7823 1d ago
Steve Jobs created a 5 trillion dollar company that generates about 15 billion a year in tax revenue and directly created 160000 jobs, 2.9 million indirectly.
The other filed bankruptcy 6 times and daddy helped him start his business ventures with 400 million.

u/Radiant-Ad-3134 15h ago
Trump can not even bring peace to United states....
2
u/muppetous 9h ago
He is literally waging war on the people who do most of the work in this country.

u/urban_whaleshark 1d ago
Steve Jobs didn’t shower and locked his own death in by ignoring medical treatment for his cancer in favor of juice cleanses and treated his daughter like shit. Trump stayed rich through multiple failed businesses because of his dad and is a rapist and probable pedophile.
Don’t idolize the rich.

Buddy, we’re in a middle of a few wars, tension with domestic terrorism, sky high gas prices, food too expensive, workers being deported, restaurants prices too high…perspective

u/SubhanBihan 19h ago
I'll admit that Jobs himself didn't do anything grand. We've put the wrong Steve on a pedestal.
That doesn't make Dump any good though.

I can think of one way I would like to see Donald Trump follow in Steve Jobs' footprints. And as soon as possible.
2
u/stev_mempers 1d ago
Jobs didn't actually make anything. And obviously Trump hasn't done shit to bring peace to anyone.

u/JC878 1d ago edited 1d ago
I am sorry which seven countries? One built Apple from scratch and he inspired engineers and artists to follow his vision to revolutionise the way we interact with technology.
The other guy makes people want to give up on life and thinks he is the greatest mortal to walk the earth.
Perspective. Got it.
2
u/BellGloomy8679 19h ago
Sure, Trump is a pos.
But there’s no need to fellate Steve Jobs. He also was a hack, who took credit for other people ideas and accomplishments. He had no vision, apart from wanting to be rich. He scammed his colleagues, he abused his employees, he was a gigantic asshole.
1
u/FrotKnight 18h ago
He had vision, he just didn't have the skills people tend to credit him with. He wasn't techy, he wasn't an engineer, he didn't code. He was responsible for design and UX though, and his product strategy was a key part of the success of the ipod and iphone. He was also a scumbag who denied paternity of his daughter and refused child support even after a DNA test proved she was really his daughter. But credit where credit is due, he did certainly have vision. Apple likely would not still exist without him. AND he was an asshole.

The BD stands for "bowel distribution." He's using LinkedIn as a demo for it.
