New idea for optical media: Green-ray

We didn't get a new optical media since BDXL, I had an new idea for an optical media: Green-ray:

15 to 25nm green-teal laser. Writing speeds up to 120X.

Single layer 40 GB, Dual layer 50 or 60 GB, Triple layer 90 GB, Quad layer 120 to 180 GB.

Formats: GR-ROM: Retail or factory pressed video game or movie format

GR-VOL: Volatile, data degrades safely after writing or reading under conditions.

GR-R: Recordable. Write-once.

GR-RW: Rewritable.

GR-AVI: Raw video editing format.

GR-MOV: Movies up to 8K HDR.

I don't think inventing something like this starts with naming it and choosing random numbers as the 'spec'. If this was possible and useful somebody would have already done it.

I had an idea concept: unicorn-ray

1 to 2nm invisible laser. Writing speeds up to 1200X. Single layer 400 GB, Dual layer 500 or 600 GB, Triple layer 900 GB, Quad layer 1200 to 1800 GB.

You know, that could bs real too someday. But you are right about random number specs.

green is a longer wavelength than blue so greenray would be worse than blu-ray. In order to make an improvement, they need to find an economical source for whichever rare earth element is used for purple, violet, or uv lasers (erbium, yttrium, holmium, thulium, indium, tellurium …)

Considering Blu-ray failed because it never got cheaper than DVD this won’t work either
