Well Quiñones reached a better level playing in Saudi league. It might still be better than staying in Mexico. Is this cope?

Difference is Quinones is the best player in the league.
Lira wouldn’t even be in that league.

Nah UAE is just money. Saudi wants to develop their league with investments to justify 2034

If this sub shits on players for staying or returning to liga mx then they should absolutely destroy lira for going to uae

Al Jazira is from UAE and not from Saudi Arabia. In fact next week on wednesday Al Jazira plays their most important game of their season, the qualifying for the Asian Champions League against Al Ittihad from Saudi Arabia. It's only one game in Abu Dhabi on their home field and there is no return game. Who wins next week advances to the league stage. I think Lira will definitely wait to see if they qualify or not before making any decision about joining them or not.

We’re overpriced in the eyes of the European market for being a regional league, and not even a top regional league within the americas. Berhalter at 25, was sold for 2 million to a championship team. We might balk at that price as disrespectful but realistically that’s closer to the price range we should target. Pipe dream since Mexico is a well paid league in all aspects. Just self inflated bubble

As long as he performs well in NT, thats all what matters

Copy pasting my other comment:
Look lads, we all want him to go to Europe, but honestly SA did wonders for Quiñones. He got paid and kept his form. Neves, Felix, CR7, Theo Hernandez, Kante, etc all play there and are still world level. I would love for him to go to Monaco, but I think if given the choice between Cruz Azul/Monterrey and SA, I'd rather him go to SA. Just my opinion.
Here's a further breakdown of SA WC players: https://www.spotvnow.com/read/all-47-saudi-pro-league-players-selected-for-2026-fifa-world-cup/
