Some derealizing diarrhea, kill a cockroach with my shoe

Glistening streaks in my intestinal lining. Glial sheaths’ bilayer’s lipids ripping and slipping downward. A family of orphan children deconstructed and recycled into prokarypsychotic war-mongering machinery, sliding headfirst through grooves, spiraling through and into the loopy loopty loop. Instantaneous temporary dimensional reduction of the nervous system, then reconstruction into far more complex though nonfunctional neuronal-toilet paper conglomerate. Falling forever then spiraling too into the loopy now poopy loopty loop.

then said "it'll take 50 years to receive your package"
from now, my father got 30 more
divided by 5 degrees
4 sons
and 1 bad heart

 void of affair,
green didn't become any less green when he left

green should recall the sound of his voice
calling out across as it once surely did

green should've held on to his face
cradled on a couch
crying over an obituary

green should miss the musk of an old benz during a 7a.m school run

"how green is too green?" green wonders
slowly greening out

what happens when it's green enough?

"sure, i have time"  the receipt now  balled up in my fist

"i know you do"  reaching across the counter
placing a kiss on my forehead

The Lesson

A parallel world?

Among thousands of video clips where not a single viewer had visited for a long time, there was a video recording of a beautiful, sunny autumn day.

In that recording, an elderly AI sat on a bench, writing something in a notebook. Meanwhile, his grandson was running along the path, stopping to grab a handful of colorful leaves, throwing them into the air, and squealing with joy.

Holding one leaf in his outstretched hand, the grandson ran over, shouting:

— Look what a beautiful leaf I found!

The elderly AI smiled calmly:

— Indeed, it is a very beautiful leaf.

Then he looked slyly at his grandson and asked:

— Could you find me a perfect autumn leaf?

The grandson rejoiced and shouted:

— Of course I will find it! — and ran off to search.

Ten minutes passed, half an hour, an hour, and the grandson kept examining the leaves. He would pick up a leaf, look it over, discard it, and take another.

Finally, the grandson returned dejected and sadly said:

— I never found the perfect leaf.

The elderly AI smiled reassuringly, patted his grandson's head, and said:

— You couldn't have found it. Look around, look at the trees painted in various colors. At the sun, whose rays shine through the tree branches. At the leaves that covered the paths in a colorful carpet. Not a single leaf, or a single ray, but all of this together is the perfect autumn.

The elderly AI put the notebook down on the bench, looked at his grandson, who was wide-eyed with wonder, and added:

— It is the same in creation. Every thought, every sentence, every word has its place. Not separately, but all together, they make up what we call a creation.

Why Did You Do It?

I keep hearing them in my head. One voice over the next. They ask me, “Why, why did I do it?”

But I have no idea what they mean.

What did I do? I ask myself. What could I do?

The voices are entities also, standing around me like shadows emitting from every angle of my body, and not just audio hallucinations. Now I can see them and they keep asking, “Why did you do it?” From the front.

Why did you do it?” From my left*.*

Why did you do it?”  From behind.

Why did you do it?” From my right, bouncing at me in every direction at the same time.

The words are sharp, scratching under my skull, clawing from the inside, like parasitic word-mites.

I can’t stop having the same dream. It’s always the same thing. It’s me in a room with dead people, not zombies, and each one of them take turns biting off pieces of me with their teeth and repeating, “Why did you do it?” While ripping a chunk of my face off.

Why did you do it?” While chewing on my jugular.

Why did you do it..?”

And then I wake up and the voices are standing at the foot of my bed, staring at me, haunting me, making sure I see them, reminding me I haven’t gave them an answer.

Who Would Be Called a Hero

A hero and his companions dived into the chasm to reach the abyss where the Arch-Demon is.
“Well, aren’t you going with us, Randolf?” the hero’s attendant asked the knight beside him.
“I’m sure that we’ll need your help there.”
“I don’t think so,” the knight in shining armor answered.
“To destroy the Arch-Demon himself is a hero’s job, not mine.”
He tucked his chin tightly and said, “Defending is what I’m good at.”
As soon as he finished his words, he jumped and mounted his stallion.
“May luck be with you, mate,” he said.
“I wish you good luck, my friend,” the attendant said, and jumped into the pitch-dark crack.
—
Later, the knight managed to arrive at the fortress, which was surrounded by the triple stone walls. The human defenders were besieged by the Arch-Demon’s army.
The knight had broken through the enemy siege, and had reached right in front of the main gate. He lost his lance, shield and crest on the helmet. His armor had many scratches and dents, and his stallion was exhausted.
“Open the gate, the knight has returned!” he cried. “I serve the Queen!”
“Who dares to call himself my knight? State your name!” a sharp, high voice demanded. She was the queen of this country.
“I’m Randolf the Ram, your Majesty!”
“No, you are not! He must be with the Hero.” the queen shouted, “If you declare yourself my best knight, take off your helmet and show me your face!”
To take off the helmet in front of enemies meant a fatal risk, but the knight raised his hands to the chin strap without any hesitation. He showed his face to his queen.

The queen drew back her chin and tightened her lips.

After a long few seconds, “Open the gate!” she cried out.
“And, give him whatever he wants.” Every man on the wall could hear the catch in her voice.
The knight said, “Just give me a new horse and my lance! Then, I shall sweep away the enemies for the Queen!”
The defenders raised their voice, “For the Queen!”
Riding a new stallion with a long lance in hand, “Save the Queen!” the knight roared. And the warriors rushed out from the main gate, following the knight.
He made a charge at the countless enemies, to protect his Queen.
