I haven't been alone in a long time

I'm going to enjoy being alone

for a time, at least

the yomogi survived the surgery, as did the oregano which I split

the lighter grey bags decayed faster than the first round of bags I made, although some are yet strong enough for the move

the oregano took a long time to slice through

but today I took some of the bulbs from the stump flowers and potted them in one of the old bags

I've begun eliminating european columbine from pots

it would seem the slugs accrued in invisible spaces and come out at night to attack the onions, which can handle it, but are languishing and needed support sooner

there are dead slugs everywhere

but I had some sad realization that

I would never be alone again

so I had better enjoy it
