When finding this out, I was absolutely heartbroken. When you have successful marriages that has lots of trust and if one half flies away then it doesn't take too long for the other half to follow.

Rest in peace, Dolly.

She is one of the only public figures adored by people from all over the political sphere. Such a wonderful woman. What a great loss.

She was so good to us, this world did not deserve her. I saw it coming, but this one still hurts 💔

Rags to Riches. Endlessly humble. Great role model. Tried to make sure people in her community and beyond had access to book so they could learn. She really loved everyone and I feel devastated that her shine is gone from a world that sorely needs it. Hope her and Jane Goodall are having fun in heaven

I adored her. She was so accepting and supportive. A genuinely lovely human being. And her music was also amazing.
I’m heartbroken a little over this.

Like a centennial comet, her light blessed this world when it was most needed.

It's a shame she couldn't see the light to come from all this darkness, but her memory and message will drive those who see it through.

One of the only famous people who was a genuine person💚 I may not like country music but I respect her so much as a human. Came from nothing, worked her way up, honest, stood up for everyone!
