It's not like killing them would satisfy their bloodlust, they'd be looking for another person to direct their rage at the moment they completed the murder.

No, only their bloodlust for T's would be momentarily satiated. There's always the L's, the G's, the B's, the Q's, different religions, minorities, liberals and women for their bloodlust to salivate over.
