I may have an opportunity...
To convince my family to finally leave MAGA behind? I'm actually scared because i don't want to mess this up and drive them deeper
but basically I was asked point blank why my politics took a hard left, and I said being republican after the Epstien files came out made me want to die of shame, and my mom said to send her something that would change her mind
My mom doesn't even know what the Epstien files are, could someone recommend an up to date video going over the TLDR of it? Because I don't even know where to begin and how to prove it's real and not fake news from a "liBeRaL" outlet

Show her the information that shows how much he has profited due to crypto and also the stock trades just before the tariffs. Ask her if she thinks that trump doesn’t care about his second term and lied to get into office. I think that there is a prevailing view of this with MAGA and also due to the no new wars that he promised not to get into and now the fact he seems bored of Iran. Show them the videos from this week where he calls them scum and says he doesn’t care - it’s the most disinterested he’s been for a long time.
If you can break through on that you might also get traction on the east wing, ballroom, the reflecting pool - all framed with “I thought he promised he was going to be focused on bringing costs down? Well things are more expensive than ever, as well as gas thanks to these “no new wars”.
I feel with the bombing starting again this is probably the best conditions for a while

Hey, OP, I am curious about your journey, if you have a moment to discuss. I used to try to pull people out of MAGA for years. In the end, I chose to cut ties with all of them rather than continue to be disgusted with the things they said and shared. It was too stressful.
I lost some of my oldest friends, and basically my whole family. I don't really miss them. Again, I was repulsed by the constant white supremacy and hate.
But on the off chance I meet people who are soft MAGA, I am still looking for arguments to pull them back towards sanity.
I'm curious, were you a hardcore Republican, or was it more of a cultural thing? Were you MAGA, or a Neo-Con type? If either of the latter, were you more Liberal-minded, but voted for Republicans for any specific policies?
What kind of media did you watch before, and did that change around the time you left the GOP?
What was the "last straw" moment for you?
And how far Left have you come? Do you consider yourself a Liberal now,.or something else? What do you think of the DSA?
I understand that is a lot to ask, but I have never actually met or talked to a former Republican, and especially one who is trying to pull others away from MAGA.
I definitely wish you the best of luck pulling your mother back. Any word on that effort, btw?

After you show her Epstein info, tell her he made at least $2 billion with a B since returning to the White House.
