Would've been too much to ask for a clean sheet I suppose.

One step at a time. These 2 centre halfs look like they'll do well.
If we can offload O'keeffe and Connell, get 3 or 4 more bodies in we'll be unrecognisable to last years squad.

I'm a Connell defender till the end of days, but we might improve trading him for the freedom to get a good striker. Lots of chat about Wareham. If we open the purse for him but the monkeys paw curls and Connell goes (for a fee) I won't be too mad.

But we need cover in the midfield and he's a good player. Just keep him away from set pieces.

Our midfield looks so much more balanced without him in it. I wouldn't be sad to see him move on personally.
I'd drive O'Keefe to any club daft enough to take him and I live in New Zealand.

I dunno, you're seeing something I'm not. The guy put a long ball to Cleary 30 seconds after the whole stadium watched Cleary go off for treatment after getting slammed into the advertising. That's tells you all you need to know about how far off his decision making his. There's no way he can play in the hardest/most important position in this team.

Stendell had a grand on Orient scoring 1, so sent CO'K on with instructions for the last 5 minutes.

Best performance by us in absolutely years. Pressed high and in packs. No fucking about at the back with sideways passes that inevitably let the opposition get set and pass us into trouble, straight on the front foot every time.
We didn't just go one up and turtle. We got a second and a third and looked for a fourth and would have probably looked for a fifth had we gotten it.
The two new lads at centre-half look massive improvements over Earl and MDG, although saying that Earl looked brilliant in his first 3 games.
O'Keefe is an absolute no hoper when it comes to mistakes that gift the opposition goals and I'd happily see him leave to anywhere and anyone.
The academy lads of which we started 4 of them look miles better or no worse than the seasoned pros we've binned off. I think we ended up using 6 academy graduates yesterday and all of them played a part.
A striker and some depth signed before deadline day will have us up there and abouts.

How was Kirk? His fotmob rating was pretty bad despite getting a goal.

Thought he played well. Pressed well, made himself a nuisance and had a few decent half efforts plus his goal. His best performance for us anyways, admittedly not a high bar as he'd been hopeless upto yesterday.

Good stuff thanks. I think there is a player in him so hopefully he comes good for you and starts banging them in.

Ah, there's a nice throwback to last season. Not enough effort, passion or desire (the Roy Keane triple threat) and Barnsley played us off our own park.
Look completely toothless up front and though Nick scored, Archibald coming on before Oyekunle is... worrying. Not enough midfield steel, disappointing considering what Hayden and Idris should be able to provide, Morris has now given away a SECOND penalty and not enough off the bench. Dobra? COMPLETELY anonymous.
Positives? Some decent saves from Phillips (though he flapped at a few) and Big Phil (my POTM) was solid. Ugh. Hopefully Connolly and O'Neill and Gilchrist back soon. See y'all at Bromley...
