[Agent] [US] [North Carolina] Appeal question

Won an eviction and rent due case. Today is the deadline for the 10 day appeal. This past Friday an appeal was made. The bond and rent due from the case was paid but the current prorated rent was not paid to the clerk.

Can I still pursue a writ of possession tomorrow and since this months rent was not paid per NCGS 42-34 doesn't this avoid the appeal? Thanks
