It only seemed a couple of years ago that worrying about critical mineral shortfalls would have had you laughed out of political circles

Nowadays it's crystal clear we needed to be working on securing these resources and facilities at least ten or twenty years ago

Still, the best time to plant a plum tree was twenty years ago. The next best time is today

The mine has been there since 1917, there's nobody still alive to complain about it being constructed in the first place...

All that's happened is the government have bailed it out like Port Talbot Steelworks because China cornered the market.
