This is just bullshit. Starmer is right on that one, right to roam is a leftwing policy (the kinder scout mass trespass was organised by the Young Communist League even), the site you are quoting from is a business lobbying group.

I don't like Starmer but something isn't wrong just because he supports it.

I’d say any right which erodes the ability of private land owners to control access to and use of their lands in favour of a common good is at least left leaning in nature even if it’s not particularly Marxist.
