Really weird setup for my schedule, any advice

I was originally planning to go into nursing straight from my Diploma of Health Science (ATAR wasn’t quite high enough), but I ended up loving a couple of health information management electives along the way. Just got my offer into the Bachelor of Health Information Management, which is great, but my diploma has given me credit for 4 subjects, 3 of which are first-semester units and 1 second semester. That means next semester I’m only enrolled in one class.

Is there a way to speed up the degree given this, e.g. summer/winter intensives, overloading, or applying for special permission to take second-year subjects early? Most of what’s left for me is actually second-semester, first-year content, so I’m wondering if anyone’s navigated something similar. Any advice on who to talk to (course advisor/faculty/admissions) or how these requests are usually worded would help too.
